What is this event?  Please join Abigail and Vincent for a celebration of their recent marriage. The happily married couple invites you to join them for a lunch on 17 January 2026 to celebrate the recent union.   So are Vincent and Abigail already married? This depends on when you are reading this. Abigail and Vincent plan to elope/ did elope in December 2025 at the courthouse.   If they were married in December 2025, what will happen on 17 January? The Elopement Celebration on 17 January 2026 is a lunch (and drinks) provided by the couple for their family and friends as an opportunity to gather to celebrate the union. As they are already married, there will not be a ceremony or a dance floor, but there will be lots of laughter, time with family, and fantastic Italian food. There will also be an opportunity at the start of the event for any guests who want to say some kind words in front of the group, to do so (no more than 2 min per person).   I received an invitation, do I need to RSVP? Please do! Please use the RSVP tab/button on this site to RSVP for you and your family by 17 December 2025. Please don't be confused by the word wedding on the RSVP page. Unfortunately, the formatting of this website will not allow the wording on the RSVP page to be changed, but this IS the right place to RSVP for the Elopement Celebration. Apologies for any confusion!   Who is invited? Can I bring my children? What about a plus one? This event is an intimate gathering taking place at a well loved restaurant which means that space is limited. Abigail and Vincent look forward to seeing you and your household (including your children), but ask that you do not extend the invitation to anyone beyond. If anyone would like an additional plus one, please reach out to the bride ahead of time.(443-841-2148)   Is there a dress code?  There is no strict dress code for the event, but the couple asks that all guests lean towards business casual and refrain from wearing jeans or shorts. Please also consider the weather, it will be January in NY! The couple will be dressed in a dress and suit for pictures!   Will there be a photographer? There will not be a professional photographer, but guests are encouraged to take photos and video if desired.   What about gifts? I don't see a registry? Abigail and Vincent are thankful for your attendance at the event and do not expect gifts. If you would like to bring a card there will be a drop box inside the restaurant, but again, it’s not expected.    Where is the event? Is it accessible? What about parking? Please see the Restaurant tab on this site for details on the venue.   Will there be a seating chart? There will not be a seating chart and all guests will be welcome to sit and mingle as they wish. There will be designated children's seating for access to children's food and we ask that if you do not have children, please allow the families with children the opportunity to sit at these tables first.   What is the menu? What about kid's food? Please see the Restaurant tab on this site for details on the menu.   If I am travelling from out of town, where should I stay?  As this is a very small event, the couple did not block off rooms at any hotels for this event, but please see the Where to Stay tab on this site for recommendations.   Who wrote these FAQs? Vincent and Abby both were online looking for love! And just like a millennial fairytale, they both swiped right and opted for an early sushi dinner.

How did they meet?

Somewhere between long walks together, her cooking, and his sense of humor the couple realized it was working out. Abby says Vincent is a sweet guy and is always making her laugh. Vincent says Abby has a great heart and perseveres through anything. 

When did they fall in love? 

2023 in Mohonk Mountain NY, Vin proposed on the top of a mountain after a short hike. Abby said yes and Vincent was able to put the ring on her finger without dropping it off the nearby cliff

When did they get engaged?

When they met Abby didn’t live alone! She had Jimmy the cat and Merlin the Pomeranian. Once Abbys furry home of three bought the house in Bellmore, every one knew it was time to add Vincent to the family. Thus he became a stepdad (kinda).
