Our Wedding

In the spring of 2019, Abigail and Carlos met by chance through mutual friends and circumstances. What began as passing hellos and jokes, after continuing to see each other in progressively more random places, morphed into actively spending time together and conversations about their experiences and aspirations. A short time (and a failed attempt to get deep-dish pizza) later, they began dating. After graduating, they moved to Gainesville with their two lovely (and silly) cats and continued their studies. In March of 2024 they got engaged at Kanapaha Botanical Gardens.

Museum on the University of Florida campus with a butterfly enclosure. Should be done with renovations by June 2026.

Florida Museum of Natural History

During the Summer, it will be very hot, but the gardens are beautiful. We recommend seeing the treeline overlooking Lake Kanapaha.
