Dylan and Abigail met in their freshman-year Algebra class, when a mutual friend encouraged them all to sit together on the first day of school. Dylan seemed quiet and shy at first, but that did not stop Abi from talking his ear off. They quickly became good friends, and stayed friends throughout most of high school; however, they always had some type of connection between them that they couldnt really understand. Dylan finally asked Abi out to the movies at the end of their junior year when the two saw each other at Dylans baseball banquet. Dylan was there as a celebrated baseball player, and Abi was volunteering as a server most likely trying to gather up some end-of-the year National Honors Society hours for school. From then on, the two went through their senior year of high school as a couple, and have supported and loved each other for many big milestones as they have grown into young adults, but the biggest of these was yet to come. In December of 2022, Dylan took Abigail to a beautiful Christmas Light Park in Marshall, TX where he got down on one knee and proposed to her in front of the biggest Christmas tree they have ever seen right in the center of the park. Although it was in front of a ton of people, it was a moment the two will always cherish and never forget. Since then, they have continued to grow together in their engagement. By the time theyre married, they will have reached 6 years together as a couple. Although that may sound long to some, the two can hardly wait for the even longer length of forever to come, and the whole new chapter of life theyre to begin.
