It all started on September 30th of 2021 at the University of South Alabama, GO JAGS! It was our sorority and fraternity that brought us together and to say it was love at first sight is an understatement. Right off the bat, things just felt so natural between us. It wasn’t long before we started dating on Halloween night of 2021 right after an accidental “I love you” slipped out of my mouth. Yes, you heard that right…I (Abby) told Blake that I loved him after only a month of hanging out together. Embarrassed by what was just confessed, Blake popped the question for me to be his girlfriend. Side note, Blake also confessed that he had already planned on popping the question within that next week! Since then, we have been inseparable. We got engaged on March 15, 2023 in Gulf Shores, AL surrounded by family and friends. It was the most beautiful day, despite the hurricane-like rain that poured down right before he got down on his knee. We are so grateful God brought us together and we are forever blessed with family and friends that have poured so much love into our relationship.
