Our Wedding

We met the modern way—on Hinge. From the very first date, something just clicked. There was no question: we didn’t want to see anyone else. At the time, Abigail was living in the city, while Austyn was up in Cumming. We made it work for a while—driving back and forth, week after week, trading long commutes for time together. It was exhausting, but we didn’t mind. Love made the miles feel shorter. Eventually, we realized we didn’t want to do the distance anymore—not just physically, but in life. So we moved in together, merging not just our spaces, but our routines, our furniture, and our dogs. Then, on March 4th, Austyn got down on one knee on the bridge at Piedmont Park. With the city in the background and our future ahead of us, he asked Abigail to marry him—and she said yes. Now it’s not “yours” or “mine”—it’s ours. Our home, our life, our little family. And it all started with a swipe and a spark.
