August 8th, 2022

Fast forward (almost 2 years exactly) a Monday night, we decided to go away for our 2 year anniversary. When we arrived to the room, there were red rose petals scattered along the floor and the bed along with 2 dozen roses in a MASSIVE vase. We had a beautiful view of the beach, proceeded to get some sun and have some lunch. After we went to the room to relax and get ready for dinner. While getting ready for dinner, Gabe went in and out of the room once or twice and I started to get curious. Once we were both ready, we walked to the elevator (I was expecting to go down) and he pressed the up button. I had butterflies and I asked where we were going. Once we got to the roof there was a beautiful sunset and a view of the ocean. I kept asking him “what?!” Because it was kind of quiet and I knew something we about to happen. Then we walked over to another part of the roof, and he got down on one knee…

He asked me if I would marry him and of course I said yes! These two lovely ladies (from Danvers because they told us we would never forget them!) asked if we wanted our picture taken, which we obviously did, and from there we started to share the news with our family and friends.
