Our Wedding

Donnie and Abby met when they were both 12 years old, on September 7th, 2015 in the Toronto middle school cafeteria lunch line. Abby had just moved to Toronto and started her very first day in middle school. It started in the lunch line, with Donnie calling Abby short and Abby procedding to punch him in the gut. Abby was a fiery kid, and as Donnie could tell, very short for her age, she was also known as Crabby Abby by her family or Angelica from the rugrats. Abby didn't know Donnie was sick with a liver condition, as soon as she found out she apologized but he didn't seem to mind because according to him it was love at first punch. He knew at that moment he wanted to marry her.They continued to hangout every chance they got at school and even got into marching band a year early together and right before line up at the band camp performance, Donald asked Abigail out. She ran and told her family that she had a boyfriend and then proceeded to run to line up for the show squealing all the way. Over the years Abby and Donnie have been through a lot seperatly and together and its almost like fate kept bring them back again. They grew up and matured over the years but with every sepertation and break they had, they still somehow loved each other. A lot of people who dated as children and tried again as adults never grew together, it never worked out long term. But Donnie and Abby, somehow always were each others best friend before partner and maybe that is how it worked out in the end. Now here they are celebrating the start of the rest of their lives. From 12 years old when they meant to 23 years old when they say their vows.

Lydia was Abbys first friend moving up to youngstown, and even though they have seprate lives they always managed to find time to hangout! Thank you Lydia for always being my friend I love you girl!

Lily is Abby's little sister. They havent been in each others lives for a while due to the age difference and being across the country from each other most of their lives. I love you Lily and cant wait to see you!!!!

Lexi was Abbys roommate and soon after best friend. Abby looks up to Lexi like a sister and has seen Abby's worst and best while living together. I also love to go to Lexi for any advice. Your words of wisdom mean everything to me Lexi!!!

Abby and Emilee meant when Abby moved in next door, Abby wasnt used to living alone and since Donnie hadnt moved up to YSU yet, Abby was stuck putting the apartment together by herself. No tho I honestly appriciate you a lot more then you think Emilee, helping me put the TV legs on really tumbled us into being friends, aka bake sweets and make dinner for all of us and share because I am terrible at making friends, but gosh is your food good, and the advice on being a women and adult mean a lot to me Emilee. Id be more clueless then ever without you!

Abby and Ivy met thru their shared love of going to dunkin on campus. Ivy knows how to make everyone around her smile. Especially when I am having a bad day, Ivy you always know how to make me laugh, even when I dont want to.

Abby met Evan at the campus Dunkin, and while Evan is quite, but around the people she loves you can see her unfold. And thank you Evan for all of the wonderful drink options you recommend!! I love how we can truly be ourselves with each other!

Ryley and Abby have been friends since middle school. Ryley has been thru alot of what went down in my life. I appriciate her presence, she made life a lot more bearable when we were younger and I am so glad she is still my friend all of these years later. Without you Ryley I dont know I would have made it thru middle and highschool.

We would like for guests to be comfortable but have more of a dressy attire for a wedding. For men a pair of dress pants and button down are just fine for our wedding with nice shoes that are not tennis shoes. For women a knee length or flowy dress with sandals or heels, or a jumpsuit will work nicely. We would like our guests to think of the weather on the day of the wedding and be comfortable but look nice, nothing too fancy.Our Colors are of that for early summer, think of pastel summer colors. We ask that no one wears white or something resembling wedding attire.

We would like to celebrate our marriage with a ceremony for our friends and family. Afterwards we will be having a more private event with just the Bride and Groom.

Things to Do

Donnie and Abby are planning a honeymoon for early spring 2027 to fly and visit Japan during their cherry blossom season and experience their culture while trying authentic cuisine. Both Donnie and Abby appriciate Japans culture and plan with this trip to learn more about their history through experience.
