What is the Dress Code?
The dress code is described as semi-formal which could be compared to the idea of "Sunday best." For women, this may mean a nice dress (cocktail, sundress, etc), a long skirt and a blouse, or dress pants. For men, this typically means slacks and a shirt and tie or a nice polo. Keep in mind this weekend typically gets pretty warm in Indiana, but also that you will be attending a Catholic Mass in this outfit. We just want you to look and feel your best!
How should I RSVP?
When you receive your formal invitation closer to the date of the wedding, it will have a QR code to an online RSVP through this website! There, you'll be able to indicate the attendance status for both the ceremony and the reception for yourself and any family members/plus ones.
What if I am not Catholic?
We welcome those of all faiths and faith backgrounds to join us at the wedding ceremony and reception. If a Catholic wedding Mass seems scary, do not be afraid! There will be programs to help out with what to do at the ceremony and the priest will give any instructions necessary during the ceremony as well. We are so excited for everyone to get to attend our wedding Mass and personally experience a part of the faith that brought us closer to God and closer to each other.
Will there be parking for the Mass?
Yes, there is a paved lot across the street by a St. Vincent DePaul thrift store. If you are young and able-bodied, please consider reserving this and the the nearby street parking for those who may be less so. Overflow parking at St. Lawrence typically extends into the grass lawn across the street from the entrance of the church. We will change this answer if any of the changes closer to the date!
Dietary Restrictions
If you have dietary restrictions, please reach out to the bride or groom to ensure that we are aware of these! Dinner will be buffet style and there is salad and other sides as a vegetarian option. Everything in the buffet is also gluten free/has a gluten free option. If you have an allergy that requires no cross-contamination, let us know so that we can make the caterer aware of your needs. We want everyone to get to feast on this joyous occasion!
