The story of Abbi and Ethan began during the weekend of the wedding between Elise and Jake Wilcox.

As friends and family came together to celebrate Jake and Elise’s marriage, Abbi and Ethan, who had never met before, began conversing. This turned into dancing, and soon, by the end of the wedding, they became inseparable.

After the wedding weekend, when it came time for everyone to travel back home, Ethan and Abbi stayed in touch. Despite the long distance they now had between them, they never missed a single day of talking on the phone. Within a couple weeks, Ethan had already booked his flight to come see Abbi in Chicago.

Eventually, the long distance became unbearable and it was time for things to get serious. Abbi decided to leave everything behind and moved to Florida to be closer to Ethan! A few months after moving down, Ethan popped the question and the rest is history!
