Where to Eat in Nashville:
We don't think you can ask for much more than good food enjoyed with great company! Here are a few of the places that we highly recommend:
This is our favorite restaurant in Germantown to go to together! It's an Italian market and restaurant where you can enjoy lunch or dinner in addition to shopping for specialty food items. If we're in doubt of where to go we go here!
We have to recommend the place that we met! Try the Honey Bear Latte which is the drink that I (Abigail) ordered on our first date and one that I've repeatedly gone back to.
This is truly one of our favorite places that lives up to the touristy hype. We love the chicken tenders (level hot if you like spicy!) with a side of the pimento mac and cheese and the fries with their house comeback sauce. Ask for honey packets and drizzle it over the hot chicken and it's everything you'd want in life.
- Deg Thai
The best Thai food in Nashville. Their curry is unbelievable!
Great tacos and fresh free toppings!
Chinese comfort food - delicious Bao buns, dumplings, and noodle soups. The spicy hot dumpling bowl is our favorite!
Located right behind 12 South this spot is one of the best for a casual brunch or lunch. I recommend 2 to 3 tacos (they have both breakfast and regular tacos), queso and chips, and their black coffee.
This is Lucas' favorite brunch spot and his go to order is the East Nasty Princess (a fluffy biscuit topped with hot chicken, cheese, gravy, and egg).
This is a beautiful tapas and wine bar and a great option if you're looking for a fun date night spot while you're in town!
A causal burger joint with multiple locations throughout the city in Germantown, Edgehill, and Green Hills.
Where to Eat in Lebanon:
If you're staying east of Nashville here are my personal favorite places to go!
My favorite hole in the wall restaurant in the entire world. I've never met a taco that I've liked more than their fish and el pastor street tacos with lots of lime and cilantro. Fast, fresh, and affordable!
Fabulous acai bowls, smoothies, protein bowls, and coffees. Great place to go for lunch! The PB&J acai bowl is my favorite.
- Town Square Social Restruant & Bar
Located on the square in historic downtown Lebanon this is a go to spot for locals and features southern favorites, wood fired pizza, and a sports bar vibe. Their buffalo chicken pizza and hot chicken tacos are especially great!
I often walk to get coffee and breakfast from this fantastic bake house and coffee shop. Their house made syrups set them apart and my personal favorite is the Bourbon Vanilla Latte.
Also located on the town square you get to see the brewing process up close and my favorite menu item is the spicy pimento cheese burger.
Nashville
With locations in both Nashville and Franklin this is a popular spot for beautifully curated specialty items and gifts.
The best independent bookstore in the city owned by the author Ann Patchett. Wonderful ambiance, wide selection, and they have cozy shop dogs that lounge in the reading chairs.
Outdoor and clothing store that's been a Nashville staple since 1971. Their staff is super kind and helpful.
Fri-Sun from 9am-2pm local businesses and farms gather outdoors and sell meat, breads, honey, and other locally made products. It's also located next to the Market House which is an indoor eatery with lots of different food options.
Lebanon
Being a business owner in Lebanon for the past 11 years has brought such an incredible community of fellow small business owners into my life. Here are a few of my favorite women owned businesses here in town!
Owned by one of my best friends Sarah Collins this is the most fabulous place for women's clothes, jewelry, accessories, and gifts! A must got to spot if you're on the Lebanon square. My sister Lily Kate works there too!
So much of my wardrobe has come from this wonderful shop! A great place for both basics and special occasion dresses and they carry a wide range of sizes.
Mallory has curated the most fun, flavorful, and imaginative
grocery store right here on the Lebanon square. I loveeeee the local sourdough bread!
My favorite home decor store in middle TN. Furniture, art, pillows, candles, seasonal decor - you'll want everything in there!
