Maid of Honor
Shayla Jolliffe - Maid of Honor
This is my Shayla, my best friend, my sister. I am pretty sure all of you know this gorgeous woman because I never stop talking about her. She will be the main person to keep me from losing my mind. Also, do not challenge her to funnel. She WILL make a fool out of you.
THE GIRLS
Elena Powers - Bridesmaid
Elena is one of the best women in my life. We met on Lake Sinclair after telling her I needed her tattoo. Within just a few short months, we became inseparable from playing hundreds of pool games to drinking hundreds of bottles of beer.
Neah Huguley - Bridesmaid
As one might have guessed, Neah is Trey's little sister. She has been such an important part of my life since I met her 6 and a half years ago. It has been such a blessing to watch her grow up side by side with us. If you're looking for the best dancer in the group, look no further.
Sarah Berube - Bridesmaid
Sarah is one of the best people in my life. She is my first cousin and we have been the best of friends since we were just babies. Although she lives so far away, she always finds time to come to Georgia to spend time with us. Sarah is also one of the only women in my life who can get a true belly laugh out of me. I am so grateful and honored to have her as a bridesmaid. She is also the absolute LIFE of the party!
Liv Alvarez - Bridesmaid
Liv has become so close to me in such a short amount of time. We played on the same volleyball team at GCSU before we both hated it and moved on with our lives. She pretty much moved in with me immediately and I think I still have 4 of her t-shirts. Sorry Liv;) We also got matching tattoos on one random day in Milledgeville before we sang our hearts out at karaoke together.
Annabelle Eisner - Bridesmaid
My Annabelle, also known as Boot. She is one of the funniest people to walk this earth. We met through working at the same restaurant and realized that we lived two houses away from each other. She is the only woman I know who could out-party me. We also look alike, which is even better.
Caroline Holladay - Bridesmaid
Caroline is my future sister-in-law and one of the best people to walk this earth. She is so upbeat and matches my energy more than anyone I know. Caro has been such a blessing, and I cannot wait to have her stand next to me. Beware, she can also do the BEST Brooklyn accent, even better than Pap.
BEST MAN
Dalton Huguley - Best Man
There is not enough room on this page for me to fit all the fun memories my Dad and I have together, which is why he is the perfect best man. Beginning from him hitting ground balls to me as hard as he could as my baseball coach, sitting in the deer stand trying not to shiver our butts off, the sexual innuendos while working on countless projects in the garage (the bolt is the male, nut is female), and watching Alabama football dominate while allegedly drinking some beers. I am beyond blessed to have such a great dad and best man.
The boys
Mikey Abutair - Groomsman
Mikey and I first became friends while playing on the same all-star baseball team together, but the first time I ever saw him was when he was pitching against me and hit me square in the back with a pitch, something that I remind him of often. Our friendship evolved very quickly and soon enough he was living in the spare bedroom of my parent's house, which is still known as "Mikey's room" to this day. Mikey and I have spent lots of time together fishing at the cabin that Abby and I are getting married at, making it even more special of a place.
Jonas Chastie - Groomsman
There is a LOT that I cannot write here about memories that Jonas and I share together. I could write a novel about all the fun times we have had, including all our fishing expeditions, the infamous trip to South Florida, allegedly wrecking his Nissan Murano while allegedly off-roading in it, and the many baseball games we played together in. Jonas has been one of my most loyal friends since middle school and I am forever grateful for the friendship we have together.
Walker Capelle - Groomsman
Walker and I were teammates on the Piedmont University track and cross-country team. There is something special about friendships shared while suffering through horrible workouts, waking up for 5:30 AM morning runs (Walker struggled to make it to these), and staying in the same hotel room for every single meet we had. Walker was always much faster than me on the track, but everyone needs a slow friend right? Despite me transferring schools after my sophomore year, Walker and I have remained best friends and I am very thankful for that.
Sam Riches - Groomsman
Sam and I met in the basement of our freshman year dorm (which is haunted btw) while he was trying to figure out how to use the washing machine. We quickly became friends partially because he had a really good fake id. We were roommates at Piedmont our sophomore year, then he and I transferred to GCSU together and continued to be roommates until he was sent overseas for the Army. Despite being very British, hating the 4th of July, and eating beans on toast, we have become the best of friends and I look forward to continuing to make more fun memories together.
Ben Infante - Groomsman
Ben and I became very close during the COVID pandemic, when I basically lived at he and Abby's college apartment. While many friendships between brothers and their little sister's boyfriend start off rough, that was not the case between Ben and I. We got along so well from the get go and soon we were talking smack about football, taking the boat out together on Lake Allatoona, and staying up way too late hanging out in his apartment. I am very thankful that he is soon to be a part of my family, although I have seen him as that for a while now.
Aidan Infante - Groomsman
Aidan is Abby's little brother and I have been so lucky to be able to watch him grow up throughout the course of Abby and I's relationship. He went from being an awkward middle schooler to an amazing man. Fair warning, if you challenge him to a board game you WILL lose, and he will make sure to let you know every strategy he used to beat you. Despite his board game superiority, Aidan has turned into one of my best friends and I am beyond excited for him to "officially" become part of my family, even though I have considered him a part for a long time.
Gavin Moncus - Groomsman
Gavin and I met while working together at Taylor's Cove and he was the most helpful person while I was adjusting to the restaurant industry! Before we knew it he was my roommate and we were spending every single day together. I taught him how to play pool in "The Black Sheep" bar in Milledgeville, but he still can't beat me yet. Gavin is also arguably Zeke's (my dog) second favorite person after of course me, which is a clear sign that he is a great guy. Despite being a great guy, he is not the greatest influence on me in the bar, oftentimes buying me drinks when I definitely do not need them!
