Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?

The ceremony and reception are taking place at The Ocean Course located on Kiawah Island, SC.

How do I get to the venue?

The easiest way to get there is to put the address in the GPS, it's an easy route once you're on it.

Once you get to the island, there are two security checkpoints before you get to the golf course. The Ocean Course is located approximately 20 minutes away from the first check point.

What is the timeline for the day?

The wedding ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00 PM. To follow directly after the ceremony will be cocktail hour and the reception.

During cocktail hour, hors d'oeuvres will be served. The open bar will open at 5:30PM and close at 10:30 PM.

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

The dress code is cocktail attire, coat and tie are optional. Our request is no jeans or shorts. Please see the below image for inspiration.

The ceremony and reception will be taking place on the lawn of the golf course, so be mindful of the shoes you wear.

Daytime temperature is around 80 degrees, but evening temps can fall into the 60’s.

Do you have a gift registry?

Please know that your love and company on our wedding day is the only thing we could ask for! However, if you do wish to celebrate with a gift, a contribution towards our honey moon would be much appreciated!

How do I RSVP?

There will be two separate ways to RSVP to the wedding. The first method of RSVP will be the old fashion written response, which will be included in the invitations. The second method can be located up top on this page in the RSVP tab!

Do you have a wedding hashtag?

YES! Our wedding hashtag is #AbbilyEverAfter

Please tag any pictures you take and post to social media with that hashtag so we can look back and enjoy them afterwards!

Additionally, we we will be asking that no pictures (with a camera or cell phone) be taken during the ceremony itself. We will have multiple photographers and videographers recording the special day. Thank you in advance for understanding!
