Simple is effective! We would like our guests to wear whatever is comfortable for them. We do ask that you wear sturdy shoes/boots as we will be walking up a trail (approx. 5 minutes from where our transportation parks) for the ceremony! Cocktail attire is a great choice for all of wedding activities planned!

As Canadian national parks are often closed to private transportation, we have secured an approved multi-passenger vehicle that will pick up all guests from their accommodations and provide transportation to both the wedding and reception sites. A detailed schedule of times will be provided closer to the wedding date.

Bring your appetite! After the "I Do's" turn into the "We Did", our entire group will go directly to the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise and enjoy brunch in a private room with views of soaring mountain peaks, the majestic Victoria Glacier, and the glistening emerald lake. We cannot wait to raise our champagne glasses with everyone!

Banff, our selected wedding location, is special because of its stunning natural beauty. Majestic mountains and turquoise lakes make for excellent hiking. The town of Banff is often called charming, and provides a welcoming base for visitors with many shops and restaurant to explore. We suggest that you bring good hiking shoes and appropriate hiking attire. The average weather in late August is perfect - with lows in the 40s and highs in the 70s. Think layers!
