Abby had just transferred to Topgolf in Scottsdale from the location in Denver, and was having a hard time with the transition during the first few weeks she was there, and called her mom everyday after her shift telling her how she thinks she's going to quit or transfer to the other Arizona location because she wasn't enjoying it as much as she did in Colorado. A few weeks later, there was this goofy but cute boy she noticed who was working the same shift in the same department (; and the two personalities just connected instantly. The boy working was Brandon, and the two sometimes had the same shift, but often worked opposites, Abby worked nights and Brandon worked mornings. On days they worked together, things just picked up from when they last talked, and then it turned into a close friendship, like best friends, and both Abby and Brandon began telling their parents about their new "friend" at work. Obviously, moms aren't dumb and they knew this wasn't just a friend, but soon going to be more. After Brandon's morning shifts, he would stay and golf to see Abby during her night shift so that they could talk, or even came in later with his friends to golf. From there on it was history and the two Topgolf employees who were once just coworkers are now getting married!

When COVID-19 hit the world hard, everything became the unknown. What was school or work going to look like? Were relationships going to last? When will we be able to see each other? WELL that didn't stop us from seeing each other. Whether it was running to Lowe's to do house projects for Kim, going to ET to watch Brandon race, or going to Lake Pleasant with friends, we were always out doing something (don't worry we took some precautions). Abby went back to Colorado for a little bit due to all the craziness of COVID and being in Arizona without her family, and didn't know when she would be back...WELP she came back a quick week later because she missed Brandon and couldn't be away from him. And yes this all happened during the "honeymoon phase". Fast forward, when it was the end of the big wave of COVID, Abby and Brandon ended up moving into her apartment and started to get life back to normal with Brandon starting his Pilot School!

A little after being together for a year, Brandon and I made the irrational decision to get our baby, Bodie. That decision was definitely one of the best ones ever made, because we needed him more than he needed us, and us three, to this day, are still inseparable, and we plan our schedules around Bodie. Thanks to a quick phone call from Brandon while I was at work, him and Adrienne drove to New Mexico, picked him up, and turned right around, while I rushed home for work to now make sure our apartment was puppy proof.

Christmas Eve 2022 will forever hold the best memory. After 3 years, it was the first "big" holiday that Brandon and I spent together because Brandon was tired of being apart for these memories and wanted to share in them. Well, this year was different because we road tripped home to Colorado and got to spend Christmas together, and of course during what I thought were family picture retakes, Brandon was down on one knee!
