Some people are placed in our lives by chance, while others are true gifts from the universe. My aunt Michelle is definitely the latter – she's been my biggest fan, fiercest supporter, and trusted confidante from day one.

Michelle has always occupied that special space between mother and friend that only an aunt can fill. She's my second mom – the one I run to when I need perspective that only comes from someone who loves me unconditionally but can see situations more objectively. She's perfected the balance of guiding me while still letting me find my own way.

What makes Michelle extraordinary is her gift of truly listening. Not the kind of listening where someone is just waiting for their turn to speak, but the deep, attentive listening that makes you feel completely heard and understood. I've spent countless hours pouring my heart out to her, knowing my thoughts and feelings were safe in her hands.

Her kindness isn't just a personality trait – it's a way of moving through the world that inspires everyone around her. Michelle approaches others with such genuine warmth and compassion that you can't help but want to be a better person in her presence.

The wisdom she's shared has shaped who I am today. From childhood dilemmas to adult crossroads, Michelle somehow always knows the right thing to do or say. She offers guidance without imposing, sharing her perspective while respecting my journey. The lessons she's taught me – both through words and by example – are treasures I'll carry throughout my life.

If I become even half the woman Michelle is, I'll consider my life a success. Her blend of strength and tenderness, wisdom and playfulness, deep loyalty and boundless love has set a standard I aspire to every day. Watching her navigate life with such grace, resilience, and authentic joy has given me a blueprint for womanhood that feels both inspiring and attainable.

Michelle has been my best friend since before I even understood what friendship meant. Our relationship has evolved and deepened with each passing year, but the foundation remains the same – unwavering love, mutual respect, and genuine joy in each other's company.

Having her stand beside me as my Matron of Honor feels like the most natural thing in the world – after all, she's been holding that honored place in my heart for my entire life.

Andrea Michelle Adkins 

Alison was the very first friend I made at the University of Lynchburg, and little did I know then that my future would become so beautifully intertwined with hers. As Logan's sister, Ali has gone from being my college bestie to becoming the family I chose long before I will officially join the family through marriage.

Our connection was instant and deep. Our friendship clicked instantly over the random stuff we both loved – from both being Geminis, to our deep love for Pride and Prejudice and spending way too much time listening Taylor Swift's music and the theories surrounding it. 

Ali is my safe space for all those middle-of-the-night worries that seem impossible to explain. Somehow she always understands what I'm trying to say, even when my thoughts come out as a confused mess. She has this gift for taking my tangled fears and helping me unravel them without ever making me feel judged or dramatic about what scares me. When I'm spiraling, she doesn't just offer empty reassurances – she acknowledges my feelings while gently helping me see the bigger picture. Having someone who can translate your half-formed thoughts and hidden anxieties is rare and precious. 

What makes Ali remarkable is how in sync our minds are – during conversations, one of us will start a thought and the other picks it up seamlessly. It's simultaneously comforting and slightly spooky how often we arrive at identical conclusions or observations without any prompting.

Ali helped me discover my backbone when I needed it most. She recognized strength in me that I couldn't yet see, pushing me to stand up for myself and believe in my own voice. During times when I would have settled or stayed silent, she reminded me of my worth until I could recognize it too.

Though this marriage will officially make us sisters-in-law, the truth is that Ali became my sister long ago, through a bond that runs deeper than legal ties. I'm beyond grateful that Lynchburg brought us together first as friends, setting the stage for her brother to later enter my life, completing a circle that feels like it was always meant to be.


Alison (Ali) Morrison 

Alyssa holds a special place in my heart as one of my oldest and dearest friends. Our history runs deep, filled with countless memories that have shaped who we are today. From childhood adventures to navigating the complexities of adulthood, she's been my constant companion through it all.

What amazes me most is how we've managed to stay connected through all of life's transitions. Even when college, graduate school, and relationships pulled us in different directions, we never let the distance—physical or otherwise—create real separation between us. We've prioritized our friendship through every life stage, finding ways to evolve together rather than apart. 

Alyssa's strength is something I've always admired and drawn inspiration from. I've watched her face challenges head-on that would have broken many others, handling life's hardest moments with remarkable resilience and grace.

What I treasure most about Alyssa is her remarkable gift for honesty wrapped in compassion. She has this extraordinary ability to deliver truth with such genuine care that even the hardest feedback feels like an act of love.

With Alyssa, life stays vibrant and authentic. She reminds me not to take things too seriously and to find humor even in challenging situations. Our friendship has weathered time, distance, and life's ups and downs, emerging stronger with each passing year.  I'm incredibly grateful that the universe paired us together all those years ago and that we've chosen each other, again and again, through every twist and turn since then.

Alyssa McDaniel 

Elizabeth and I have been friends since high school, with a connection that runs even deeper than our own friendship – our moms are best friends too! It's like our friendship was destined before we even had a say in the matter, and I couldn't be more grateful for it.

Our shared love of Taylor Swift has been the soundtrack to countless car rides, late-night talks, and everything in between. We've analyzed lyrics, cried over songs, and celebrated every new album release together like it was a national holiday.

What makes Beth special is how completely myself I can be around her. There's no pretense, no filter needed – just pure, unfiltered friendship. We've accumulated so many inside jokes over the years that we practically speak our own language, sending each other into fits of laughter with just a single word or glance that leaves everyone else completely confused.

Beth is the definition of a "say yes to everything" friend – the one who never needs convincing to join any adventure, no matter how spontaneous or questionable. She has this incredible way of making everyday moments feel like mini-adventures just by being present in them.

Our friendship has grown and evolved through every stage of life. I'm honored to have my forever "yes" friend, Taylor Swift co-fan, and keeper of too many secrets by my side on this special day.

Elizabeth (Beth) Triggs 

Abigail and I have been tight since our days at the University of Lynchburg, and she's witnessed all the major plot twists in both our life stories. We've weathered every unexpected turn together, celebrating the highs and finding laughter even during the lows.

What makes Abbilina special is how genuinely excited she gets for other people's happiness. When good things happen in my life, she doesn't just offer a polite "congrats" – she practically vibrates with joy, sometimes more thrilled than I am. Even the most serious people can't help but get swept up in her wave of joy. It's scientifically impossible to stay in a bad mood around Abbilina. 

Abbilina is unapologetically herself in a world that often pushes people to conform. Case in point: her legendary sink paintings. While most people see a bathroom sink as, well, just a sink, Abbilina sees a canvas. 

Some of my favorite memories with her are from our gym sessions that involved minimal exercise and maximum laughter. Our stomachs were often sore, just from laughing. 

From college adventures to standing beside me on my wedding day, Abbilina's friendship has been one of the greatest gifts in my life. I'm so grateful that this unapologetically authentic, joyful soul is part of this special day.

I met Olivia in the law school parking lot on day one. We literally hadn't even walked into the building yet. We just spotted each other looking equally lost and nervous, and somehow we've been stuck together ever since. What makes Liv so special is her incredibly giving heart. Her generosity isn't just in grand gestures, but in the everyday ways she shows up for the people she cares about. She always makes time to listen when life gets overwhelming.
Liv understands what it's like to grow up in the South, making her feel like a piece of home when law school felt foreign and overwhelming. There's something comforting about someone who gets your references and shares your experiences without explanation.
Liv's personality is wonderfully unique and refreshingly authentic. Her love for mothman is unmatched, her ability to instantly energize any room when "Rake It Up" starts playing is amazing, and Green Apple Bootleggers run when they see her coming. And if you need further proof of our cosmic connection, Liv puts as much stock in zodiac charts as I do – we've spent far too much time wondering about everyones star signs.
She's been my sounding board for all my thoughts, both the brilliant and ridiculous ones. Whether it's a 2AM existential crisis or a random Tuesday afternoon epiphany, Liv is always there to listen, process, and offer her perspective. Oh, and be sure to know your middle favorite color because she will ask you. 
We've weathered the ups and downs of law school and life together. I'm so grateful that we found each other in that parking lot, and I couldn't imagine this special day without her by my side.

Olivia (Liv) Woosley 

Hailey and I have been tight since our first day of law school. What makes Hailey special is how she constantly keeps me on my toes. Just when you think you can predict what she'll say or do next, she surprises you with her quick wit or unexpected perspective.
Hailey is the definition of a ride-or-die friend. She celebrates my victories as if they were her own and offers her strength during difficult moments without hesitation. That kind of authentic, unconditional friendship is rare and precious.
In a world where people often hide behind pleasantries, Hailey's honesty is refreshing. She'll tell it like it is, even when the truth might be hard to hear - a quality I've come to treasure. And let me warn you - if anyone challenges her to a game of pong, prepare to lose! She's a fierce competitor who doesn't back down.
Vibrant and full of personality, Hailey brings light and energy wherever she goes. From the chaos of law school to standing beside me on my wedding day, Hailey's friendship is one of the bright spots from my time in Grundy. I'm beyond grateful that this honest, spirited, and completely authentic girl is part of this special day.

Madison isn't just my cousin; she is a unique energy that our family just wouldn't be complete without. What instantly strikes anyone who knows Madison is her incredible artistic talent. Her creativity flows through everything she touches, transforming blank pages into worlds of color and imagination. I've watched in awe as her skills have developed over the years, from childhood doodles to works that genuinely take my breath away. Her natural eye for beauty and detail is truly inspiring – there's something magical about seeing the world through Madison's artistic perspective. I couldn't imagine our wedding day without Madison by my side. Though she may be our junior bridesmaid, there's nothing "junior" about how important her presence is to me. I'm honored to have Madison stand with me on this special day and I can't wait to see all the amazing things she'll continue to create and become in the years ahead.

Madison Barker

When you marry someone, you gain not just a spouse but an entire new family. In Reece, I've found one of the greatest gifts of joining the Morrison family. From our very first meeting, she's been nothing but welcoming, making me feel like I belonged long before any official ceremony.

Having Reece as part of our wedding party feels like a perfect representation of our families coming together. I'm honored that she'll be standing with us on this special day, and even more honored to officially become family with someone as wonderful as her.

Groomsman 

Jacob and I have been the best of friends since the first grade, never missing a beat throughout our lives. He is someone I can count on to live up to his promises, support my endeavors, and have a fun time regardless of the situation. We have been more like brothers than friends in many ways. From playing sports together to raiding his father’s liquid courage cabinet, our energies feed off one another. Through it all, he and I have made many memories that will last forever. There isn’t anyone else I would want up there beside me on my big day than this man. 

Jacob Payne 

"God smiles on my little brother, inside and out he's better than I am." There's no Taylor Swift lyric that could better capture how I feel about Cooper.  

Let's be honest – Cooper is definitely the cool sibling.He's got that effortless way about him, that authenticity that draws people in. While I am often still figuring things out, he always seems to already know who he is, carrying himself with a confidence I've always admired. 

While Cooper might not want people to know it, he has the softest heart and deepest capacity for caring I've ever known. He hides it well behind his laid-back attitude, but I've seen the way he looks out for the people he loves and it is inspiring. Watching him grow into the man he is becoming has been one of my life's greatest privileges. His kindness, integrity, and genuine care for others make me prouder than he'll ever know. He navigates challenges with a quiet strength that amazes me, and his perspective on life often gives me insights I wouldn't have found on my own.

Cooper has this magical ability to make me laugh even on my worst days. Whether it's his perfectly timed one-liners, ridiculous impressions, or just his willingness to be completely goofy he always adds light to heavy conversations. Some of my favorite memories are just us laughing until we couldn't breathe over something that probably wouldn't be funny to anyone else.

I'm incredibly lucky to have Cooper not just as my brother but now as a groomsman in our wedding. He's been there for all the important moments in my life, and I couldn't imagine this celebration without him.

Cooper, thank you for being exactly who you are – my brother, my friend, and one of the best people I know.

As my bride’s brother, Cooper is someone who I also consider a brother. He and I have been known to escape family events just to throw a baseball or football. We joke around constantly which has created more of a sibling-like bond. I am excited to be able to call him part of my family, as well as including him in the mix of the wedding party.  - Logan 

Cooper Lawrence

Wyatt has been in a relationship with my sister for several years and has grown very close with my family. I will always remember he and Ali joining Abby and I in Pigeon Forge after our engagement, which was a blast. From watching UFC with us to going fishing with my dad, Wyatt has been an excellent additional member of the family. I immediately thought of Wyatt as a perfect option for a groomsman on my wedding day. 

Wyatt Atkins 

Javy wasn’t always one of my best friends, as our relationship began with me plunking him in the head during little league baseball many years ago. Since then, he has come to forgive me and is now a brother of sorts. There were many times throughout our school-aged years where we were inseparable. My family has always considered him my brother as well, even including him on a family vacation every now and then. This guy has stayed at my house more times than I can count, which is always a good time. Javy is strong-willed and ambitious, having set his sights high and achieving beyond what most could accomplish. He consistently pushed me to have that same goal-oriented attitude and expected the best from me. Therefore, he has solidified his place in standing up there with me on wedding day. 

Javier (Javy) Peralta 

My friendship with Logan started back in 2020 when we began living with each other at the start of PT school. We didn’t truly know anyone else in the program and were both looking for roommates, so I reached out to him to rent an apartment. Once we began living together, we realized it was a good match. Logan is easy-going, gets along with everyone, and is generally a good guy. He got me through some of the rougher, grueling PT school days with his humor among other things. Many days after school, we were out throwing baseball or playing die with the rest of the boys. That being said, I can’t think of having my wedding without having Logan in the mix. 

Logan Weithman 

Thomas is one of those guys whose mood lifts up others around him. Once we became close friends in PT school, many unique memories were made in Huntington and Columbus. I can’t count how many days after class that we would all get together to hang out, most likely getting rowdy. Heck, our PT boys group chat is named after an incredible trip to Columbus of which he was the centerpiece. His contagious personality was something that brought all of the MU PT school peers together. Thomas is competitive, passionate, and a fierce friend. Having a great group of groomsmen would be insufficient without him. 

Thomas Chrisley 

Just like Logan and Thomas, Hayden was an integral part of our friend group. He is the guy who we could count on to give us a good laugh in times of need. From trips to Columbus to several nights of cutting my hair, Hayden has been constant through it all. Out of all the die games we’ve played, you could expect that he would be the one to throw up some ridiculous shot and then go running at the other side to mess up the opponents. You can always expect a good, uplifting atmosphere around Hayden. He was a no-brainer to ask to be a groomsman. Heads up though, he’s going to throw his hair tie on the ground for good luck at least once.
