The U.S. 281 highway turn-off onto K-2 to reach Kiowa is closed. If you are in a vehicle equipped for dirt roads, we suggest turning east on Rattlesnake Trail (approximately 1 mile north of the K-2 turnoff) and then south once you reach Red Dust Rd. (approximately 2 miles), which will lead you to K-2 and into Kiowa. If you prefer to take paved roads, we suggest heading east from Medicine Lodge to Sharon, turning south on Tri-City Rd until you reach K-2 and then back west into Kiowa. In any event, please bake in a little more travel time to account for the construction. Thank you!
