Q + A

What is the dress code?

Black-tie optional. We ask that men wear a tuxedo or a dark suit and tie and women wear an evening gown or cocktail dress.

What is the synagogue dress code?

Please ensure your shoulders are covered when entering the sanctuary. Wraps will be available to borrow at the entrance for those who need one.

What is the transportation situation?

Rideshares in the greater Hartford area are relatively available; however, there may be some wait time associated with requesting a rideshare. A shuttle will be operating between the end of the ceremony at Beth El Synagogue and the start of the cocktail hour at the Delamar. There will be ample parking available at Beth El Synagogue, as well as prepaid spots in the Isham Garage (located at 19 Isham Road, West Hartford, CT 06107). The drive between Beth El Synagogue and the Delamar hotel is around 10 minutes, and the walk from the garage to the reception venue is 5-10 minutes.

Do you have a wedding registry?

We appreciate the generosity of all those taking time to come join us on this incredible day. Should you be interested in making a charitable donation, we would be honored if you would consider supporting the following organizations that are close to our hearts: Georgetown Animal Services, the Kingswood Oxford Scholarship Fund, Jewish Family Services of Greater Hartford, or the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. These links can be found at the bottom of the Registry page on our website.

What's the best way to RSVP?

Please RSVP using the specified RSVP page on our website.

Is there a hotel block booked for the wedding guests?

A limited block of rooms has been set aside at discounted rates at the Delamar West Hartford. Please contact the hotel and request information on the Leshem Wedding block of rooms.

When is the RSVP deadline?

Please respond no later than August 4th, 2024.
