Abby and Charlie first met in college at Virginia Tech in 2015. Although they don’t entirely remember their first meeting, their relationship sparked from there. Throughout the next two years, the two were inseparable, spending all of their time cooking meals together, watching movies, going to football games, and frequenting Hokie House happy hour.

After graduating, Abby and Charlie embraced a year of long-distance while they started their careers. When the time came that Abby was able to transfer with her company, they made the big cross-country move to Long Beach, California. Since 2018, they have enjoyed building a life together decorating two apartments (and now a house!), raising their pup Radley, and spending time with friends that have become family.

Right before their 8th dating anniversary, Charlie and Abby went to Catalina Island to visit Charlie’s dad. Charlie had set up a sailboat date where they had an amazing dinner while sailing down the coast of Catalina, joined by dolphins and blue herons. They got up to get some photos with the sunset in the background, and Charlie got down on one knee. Abby couldn't have dreamed up a better proposal or a more beautiful place for it to happen.

Abby and Charlie are currently enjoying planning their wedding at the beautiful Oak Barn and can't wait to celebrate with you in July!
