In the summer of 2023, Grant and I met while working as baristas at SummerMoon Coffee in Belton, TX. We quickly became great coworkers, but even better friends! Both of us would come into work early and stay late just to see one another. Neither one of us were looking for a relationship, but God had other plans!

Despite the fact that Grant insisted he wouldn't date coworkers, our boss, Rachel Whitmire, encouraged Grant to just go for it. So, one evening, Grant asked if I would go on a walk in the park with him and his dog Gus. This was the perfect first date! By the 4th of July we became an official couple!

Our season of long distance dating began as I moved back to Waco to continue my education at Baylor and Grant remained in Belton for school at Mary-Hardin Baylor. Date nights consisted of Grant driving up to help me put together my RA bulletin boards, going on late night walks, ice cream runs, and eating pizza in my dorm.

Throughout the fall semester, Grant came to several Baylor football games and every chance I got I would drive down to Belton for spontaneous dates.

Grant and I took our first trip together to Washington State for his friends Kayto and Allison's wedding! This was the first time I got to see where Grant grew up and meet his extended family and friends!

The first of many holidays celebrated together with one another's families! This was included in the first photos I posted of us together on social media. It was clear to everyone that we were inseparable, except for cousin Kelli who said, "Let's see if he makes it to the 6 month mark." :)

Our first dance! I learned that Grant knows all the words to every song and that we love dancing together!

During the spring semester, Grant drove to Waco to watch my SING act on 4 separate occasions! He earned the most supportive boyfriend award!

Our first bluebonnet pictures together! It's continued to be evident that God has placed us in each others lives because together we are better!

For Grant's 23rd birthday, we spent the afternoon painting and headed up to Georgetown for the Poppyseed festival!

We celebrated our 1 year anniversary of meeting each other with an all day shopping trip in Round Rock!

Grant and I got to celebrate our 11 month anniversary with a fancy dinner on a cruise for my brother Josh's graduation!

We celebrated our 1 year anniversary on the 4th of July!

During the summer, Grant and I had to say goodbye for a month while I studied abroad in London. This was the longest we have ever been apart from one another. Despite the 6 hour time difference, we managed to stay connected and both of us gained clarity that we never wanted to be apart again.

Grant planned a date night for my return from London. Before dinner, Grant took me on a hike at Chalk Ridge Falls to show me a waterfall. In my head, I thought Grant had prepared a picnic for dinner under the waterfall. Grant had to carry me down the trail because I was wearing my 5in. heels! To my complete surprise, when we got to the waterfall, I turned around to see Grant down on one knee asking me to marry him! I SAID YES!!! We returned to my house later that evening where we were greeted with a surprise engagement party!

Let the wedding planning begin!! :) One of the first things to do was finding the perfect wedding dress! After visiting 7 different bridal boutiques with my incredibly patient mother & matron of honor, I finally said yes to the dress at Georgio's Bridal!!

I graduated from Baylor University! SIC'EM!!!

Grant & I received the keys to our future home together! Thankful for God's abundant provisions!

We received our engagement photos from the beautifully talented Jade Pierce! :) Grant & I are soaking up this engagement season as our wedding day draws near with 102 days to go!!

My lovely hostesses threw me a high tea bridal shower!! It was a very emotional day as I was surrounded by women God has placed in my life who have encouraged, challenged, inspired, and shaped me into the woman I am today.

Bachelorette Weekend!!! Felt extremely loved by all my girls! My heart is full :) Counting down to May 29th!
