Flights to Ireland will be available 11 months in advance; in May 2026. You can fly into Dublin or Shannon. Both are about 3 1/2 hours from Carrick/Teelin in County Donegal. However, it is easier to take public transportation if you fly into Dublin. Check "Accommodations and Transport" for more details If you rent a car, be aware that they are smaller than in the US. Minivans are almost unheard of, and because the roads are narrow, you wouldn't want a big car anyway.

There are no Ubers; only a couple of local taxis which can be hard to get at times.
