Our Wedding

It’s funny how life brings people together at just the right time. Though we went to the same high school and shared mutual friends, our paths didn’t truly cross until years later; I graduated college and moved back home, and George lived at home after the Marine Corps and commuting to University of Michigan Dearborn. We started spending time with the same group of friends, and before long, we realized just how much we had in common. What began as casual hangouts quickly turned into fishing trips, long talks, and days spent side by side. Fishing became our thing (but really, it was just an excuse to spend more time together). Before we knew it, we were seeing each other almost every day, and the rest fell perfectly into place. Since then, we’ve been inseparable. Whether we’re out fishing, hunting, camping, or (on rare occasions) staying in for a quiet night, we’ve built a life full of laughter, adventure, and love. We’ve grown so much together and can’t wait to spend a lifetime not only as husband and wife, but as best friends.

Elena and I first met in college, and from the very beginning she’s been one of the most constant and important people in my life. She’s seen me at my absolute highs and stood by me through my lows, always offering compassion, care, and the kind of support only a true friend can give. Elena has a heart of gold and a way of making every moment brighter. I couldn’t imagine saying “I do” without her by my side.

Cameron and I have been best friends since 6th grade, and she has truly been part of my life for as long as I can remember. She’s stood by me through every season of growing up, celebrating the best moments and helping me through the hardest ones. Cameron is loyal, thoughtful, and has a heart that cares so deeply. Having her by my side as I step into this next chapter means everything to me because she’s been there through it all.

Caitlin and I met in high school and grew closer while playing lacrosse together. Over the years, I’ve come to love her for her kind heart, her caring nature, and the way she makes every moment together feel easy and fun. Now in law school, she’s as driven as ever, but she’s still the same sweet friend who always knows how to make me laugh and feel supported. I’m so grateful to have her by my side on my wedding day.

Lorenna and I met in high school while playing lacrosse, and over the years, she has become such an important part of my life. Her upbeat spirit, infectious laughter, and caring heart have always lifted me up, and she has a special way of making everyone around her feel loved. Lorenna has stood by my side through so many moments, big and small, and having her with me on my wedding day feels like the perfect reminder of how lucky I am to have her in my life.

Sophia and I met in high school through lacrosse, and from the very beginning, her outgoing personality and sense of humor have always brought so much joy into my life. She has an uplifting spirit that lights up every room. Sophia is always supportive and knows exactly how to make me laugh. Having Sophia by my side on my wedding day is a reminder of how lucky I am to have a friend who brings so much light and happiness into my life.

My future sister-in-law who is truly the sweetest. She’s been so supportive and is just as excited as I am for us to officially become sisters. Her kindness and love mean so much, and I can’t wait to share this special day with her by my side.

Grant and I go way back, all the way to the 8th-grade bus rides where our friendship first started. Since then, we’ve shared countless memories, from golfing rounds and talking cars to late nights hanging out by the fire. Grant knows me better than anyone, and I couldn’t imagine anyone else standing by my side on my big day.

Mason and I met through mutual friends, and our friendship quickly grew through countless late-night projects in his dad’s garage, workouts, and our weekly Bible study. Even though he’s now living in Texas, Mason remains one of my closest friends. No matter the distance, he’s always been someone I can count on, and I’m grateful to have him standing with me on my big day.

Colin isn’t just my brother-in-law, he’s also a great friend. From family gatherings, time spent outdoors, to weekly survivor nights, we’ve shared a lot of good memories over the years. I’m grateful to have him as part of the family and standing by my side on such an important day.

Jake and I met through mutual friends and quickly hit it off. We’ve spent plenty of time together at car meets, bonfires, and nights at Hermann’s Bar, making memories that always lead to a good story or two. I’m glad to have him as a close friend and by my side on my wedding day.

Stephan and I go all the way back to high school, where we first met in STEM class. From late night 1 a.m. McDonald’s runs to his unforgettable parties, there was never a dull moment when Stephan was around. He’s always up for an adventure, no matter how weird or spontaneous, and I couldn’t imagine the day without him there.

Tim and I have been friends since middle school, where we first met playing intramural badminton. Over the years, we’ve spent countless days golfing, fishing, and making memories including some great weekends visiting him at MSU and the parties at his apartment. He’s been a solid friend through it all, and I’m excited to have him standing beside me on my big day.
