What are the addresses of the wedding ceremony and reception venues? Are they wheelchair accessible?
Both the ceremony and reception will be held at the Herreshoff Marine Museum, located at 1 Burnside Street, Bristol, Rhode Island 02809. The venue is fully wheelchair accessible for your convenience.
Have you reserved blocks of rooms at one or more hotels?
Yes! We've reserved a block of rooms at the Holiday Inn Express in Swansea, just 20 minutes from the venue. You can find the booking link on our "Travel" page.
For those who prefer more space, we also have several AirBnB recommendations, which are also available on the "Travel" page of the website!
Is there parking available near your wedding venue(s)?
Yes, parking is available, and you’re welcome to leave your vehicle on-site overnight if needed. However, if you plan on drinking, we encourage you to use Uber or another rideshare service for a safe ride home!
Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?
The ceremony and reception will both take place outdoors! Cocktail hour will be indoors, and the reception will be held under a tent.
What is the dress code for your wedding?
The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal. Think: elegant dresses, classic suit jackets, and a polished, refined look. Tie's are optional for men.
What is the weather like in the area?
We're hoping for a beautiful, sunny day in the 70s. Since the ceremony and reception are near the water, there might be a few breezy moments with occasional gusts of wind.
Am I allowed to bring a plus one?
Your wedding invitation will let you know if you are welcome to bring a plus one.
Am I allowed to bring my children?
Due to space and budget considerations, we are inviting only family children. If your child is included, their name will be listed on your RSVP invitation.
What type of food will be served at your wedding?
At cocktail hour, we’ll be serving a variety of Rhode Island staples along with a fruit and cheese grazing table for everyone to enjoy.
Dinner will be served buffet-style, featuring a selection of meats, seafood, and a variety of sides and salads.
Will there be an open bar?
Yes, there will be an open bar throughout the entire event!

Where should we bring/send our wedding gift?
Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! However, if you wish to give us a gift, you can have it sent to our home at 30 Gould Street, Newport, RI 02840. We will also have a card box at the reception for your convenience.
Is there an after party?
Yes! We’ll be heading to the Judge Roy Bean Saloon in downtown Bristol, just a short 10-minute walk away.
