The largest producer-only farmer’s market in the US, it wraps around the entire state capitol building and continues down State Street. You’ll find the season’s best vegetables, flowers, meats, cheeses, and specialty products. It occurs every Saturday morning April-November.

The Henry Vilas Zoo is an admission-free, AZA-accredited zoo located next to Vilas Park in downtown Madison. It has over 100 species, including polar bears, giant tortoises, and African lions.
Olbrich Botanical Gardens is a 16-acre public garden and indoor tropical conservatory. The outdoor gardens have free admission, while the indoor Bolz Conservatory has a small entry fee.
