Abby and Michael met in the fall of 2016 at the University of Connecticut. The couple was brought together by their love of swimming, and met during an evening practice when they shared a lane together. Throughout their time at UConn, they cultivated an incredible friendship, a love for Nickel Night at Huskies, and eventually, a little romance too.

In the summer of 2019, Abby and Michael relocated to Providence, RI, and settled into their first apartment together. During this time, their family grew by four paws when their Golden Retriever, Oliver, joined their home. Ollie is a major source of joy in their lives, and adores all things related to tennis balls, peanut butter, and swimming.

The couple recently relocated to Boston, MA, where Michael currently works in Landscape Architecture while Abby completes her Emergency Medicine residency. Their family and friends are the most important thing to them, so they feel incredibly lucky to be so proximal to all the amazing people in their lives.

When not consumed by wedding planning, Michael and Abby can be found spending their time outdoors, trying new restaurants, and traveling. Some of their favorite things they've done together include taking cooking classes in Rome, skiing at Winter Park, camping in Moab, and hiking in Iceland.

They are so excited for this new chapter, and are overwhelmed by all the love and joy they received following their engagement on October 29th, 2022. They cannot wait to celebrate their love with you all, and hope to see you on the dance floor (or at the bar) in Newport, RI on August 25th, 2024.
