We met online during the height of Covid in January 2021 (thanks Bumble). Our first date was takeout in a restaurant parking lot in Mike's car. He played a "fine dining" playlist on Spotify and parked facing the sunset. Our first date was four hours and afterwards I called my mom and said that if I married this man, my kids would have a really nice dad.

For the first two years we lived an hour apart. Mike would drive down to my apartment on Saturdays for Date Day and I would drive up for dinner one weeknight a week. It was a busy two years - job changes, graduation, and more.

This past year (year three) was the busiest of all - we bought a house in May and adopted our dog, Amelia, in July. On December 16th, Mike proposed at Stan Hywet (one of our favorite date spots and the place where my parents had their wedding reception). It was the easiest yes of my life.

We're so excited for the next adventure (marriage) and can't wait to celebrate with all of our most important people on what will be one of the most memorable days of our lives.
