We first met when they were working detasseling corn as a summer job in 2012. Abby had a huge crush on Austin and they were friends throughout the summer.

We went our own ways throughout high school and the majority of college. We reconnected over winter break in 2020. Austin was living in Washington back visiting family and I was finishing up my last semester of college.

We quickly became inseparable and 9 days later Austin left to go to Korea. We dated long distance for 7 months and then Abby moved out to Washington. Our family quickly grew to include our two "doodles", Ohna and Fern.

Austin proposed to Abby in the Dominican Republic at a beautiful beach. The story is comical as leading up to the proposal, Abby was arguing with Austin about going to the area as it seemed dangerous. Imagine her surprise, when he pulled out a ring.

We are currently residing in Washington and love the outdoor lifestyle. Together, we love to run, hike, ski, and explore all the opportunities the PNW has to offer. We are truly blessed and cannot wait to see what our future holds!
