We will be traveling to London on a direct flight from Seattle. We are taking a hopper flight to Porto on Monday, May 6 (Tap Airlines Flight TP-1329) departing London-Gatwick at 12pm and arriving in Porto Monday, May 6 at 2:25pm.

Wedding events will be Tuesday-Thursday (May 7-9).

We will depart Porto after the wedding on Saturday morning, May 11 to enjoy a quick Honeymoon.

Direct flights to Porto can sometimes be expensive and harder to come by. Airports such as Barcelona, Dublin, or Copenhagen, or any UK airport often offer more affordable round-trip options. From there, you can easily catch a flight via airlines like Ryanair, Easyjet, or Tap Portugal which offer quick hopper flights to all over Europe usually $30-90 base cost. Be sure to be mindful of baggage and carry on liquid limitations as they're fairly strict around most of Europe.

Trains are another great way to travel once you're across the pond. We always prefer to take a train when we can. Learn from our mistakes and pay the extra fee for an assigned seat when available to avoid a really long game of musical chairs.

We recommend taking Ubers to and from the airport as well as around town in Porto.

Porto is relatively small and a delight to explore on foot. Comfy walking shoes are a must. We recommend staying in and around City Center. Airbnb's are very affordable in this area, but there are also boutique hotels for any budget.

Getting around Porto is easy; buses, trains, trams, pedicabs, and Uber are all available. You won't need a rental car.
