You’re all probably wondering, “How did the two funniest, goofiest, and hungriest people get lucky enough to meet one another???” Well, we’ll tell you!

Abigail and Juris both met when they were freshman at their alma mater, Eastern University, in 2017. They were just classmates and partners in their Writing and Sociology classes, but little did they know they were working on class projects with their soulmates.

One day, Juris saw Abigail looking cute while studying and eating her favorite sandwich at their campus’ fast food joint and decided to ask their mutual friend for her number (He was shy, cut him some slack). Juris texted Abigail to ask if she wanted to meet up one day at the very same fast food joint and get to know each other; Abigail said yes. On November 22, 2018, Juris and Abigail met up just like they planned, and before they knew it, they had been talking, laughing, sharing her favorite sandwich and watching Youtube videos for 6 hours straight! At that point, Abigail and Juris knew that no matter what, “This is the person I want to do life with.”

To make a very long story short, after navigating obstacles and life’s surprises such as the pandemic and so many others, Abigail and Juris grew individually and as a unit, surviving nearly 6 years of love and friendship and praying for a million more.

On November 25, 2023, nearly 5 years after they shared that sandwich, Juris asked Abigail to share life with him for the rest of their lives; Obviously, Abigail said YES!

Now, here we are, excited to share that Abigail and Juris will be celebrating their love story and unity on July 13, 2024 at The Estate at Florentine Gardens!
