Our story began in a hallway of Greensburg Central Catholic High School. Just before his graduation, Anthony approached Abigail at her locker to tell her she “caught his eye” (Abigail swears that is what he said, and don’t let him tell you otherwise!). He gave her his number, and the rest is history.

Over the years that followed, we shared many special moments of life together. Anthony took Abigail to her senior prom. We celebrated each other’s graduation from high school, experienced college together as SVC Bearcats, and more. Anthony has never missed a concert or performance that featured Abigail, and she visits Alabama all the time as he completes his sports medicine training. We have always been each other’s biggest supporters throughout life.

On June 12, 2022, after a brunch with their friends from Forbes Family Medicine, Anthony took Abigail for a walk to the Hot Metal Bridge to see the lock they had placed years before. While Abigail was turned and looking over the river, Anthony knelt behind her and nervously said “Stay there… and LISTEN TO ME!” He then proposed to Abigail, and she immediately said YES!” Anthony’s brother Nick captured the moment with beautiful photos. On the walk back afterward, Abigail was surprised to see her sisters had traveled home to be with their family and friends to celebrate!
