Here is the story of everyone's favorite couple:

Abbey and I met at Workout Anytime Powell. At the time I was a front desk worker and she was a beautiful blonde coming into the gym to get swole. I remember asking my co-worker the first time I saw Abbey walk through the doors of the gym “who is that beautiful girl, and does she have a boyfriend?” Sadly she did have a boyfriend and your boy was fresh out of luck. But in the summer of 2021, Abbey was freshly single. However, I knew Abbey needed time to heal, and more than that she needed a friend. So I put aside my feelings for Abbey and entered the place no man wants to enter with a girl he likes… the friend zone!!

That summer I knew God was going to change Abbey’s life, and I did not want to get in the way of that. I also knew God needed to change my heart and grow me into a man of God that would hopefully be worthy of being Abbey’s man. After a summer of Abbey and I growing closer to God in our personal lives, and us growing closer in friendship, I finally asked Abbey to be my girlfriend September 30th 2021.

Since then, Abbey and I have done plenty of traveling, gone to tons of UT football and basketball games (our favorite thing to do together), and listened to more than enough of Taylor Swift. We have graduated with two degrees from the University of Tennessee, and have recently started our careers as teachers. I could not imagine spending another second of my life with her not being my wife, sadly I have to wait until July 20th, 2024. However, I am so excited to spend the rest of my life with my best friend who encourages me to grow in my love for Christ and for those around me. I already mentioned Abbey and I will be tying the knot on July 20th, 2024. So many of you guys have poured into our lives and have greatly impacted us more than you can imagine, and we ask for more wisdom and prayers as we enter our new life together!
