Welcome to Helena! Here's some of our favorite spots to visit while you're in town:

Broadwater Hot Springs: Soak and enjoy a brew!

Last Chance Gulch: This is the old, historic downtown of Helena. There are restaurants, stores, and lots of history to behold on this stretch. While you're there check out:

Windbag Saloon: Enjoy seasonal cocktails and mocktails with some great food

Western Bar: After you're done at the Windbag, walk down the street to the Western Bar. If you're looking for local, Montana beef, stop in for lunch for amazing burgers and fries. Right outside is where we had our first kiss!

Ten Mile Brewing: Like Bigfoot? Check out this awesome brewery and their merch. Next door is the Hawthorne: a wine bar! There's often live music at night

Big Dipper Ice Cream: Amazing in house made ice cream; the Mexican Chocolate ice cream is a dream!

Ascension Brewing: Upstairs at this brewery is a fantastic view of downtown Helena, drinks aren't bad either!

Other Hot Spots:

Missouri River Brewing: This is one of our favorite breweries we frequent; also the unofficial sponsor of our wedding! Get a sneak peak at their beers in preparation for the big day.

Flying Giant Adventure Park: Fun for the whole family at the trampoline park and some axe throwing to pass some time.

Gates of the Mountains Boat Tour: Head towards the Sleeping Giant and go on a boat tour with one of the guides as you float down the Missouri River, possibly see some wildlife, and learn about Montana history

Historic Mansion Tour: Google "Helena Historic Mansion Tour" and see some beautiful homes in the historic district

Hike Mount Helena: Strap on your boots and pack your camera on this short, simple hike for some awesome views!

Lewis & Clark Brewing: The beer here encompasses all that is Helena, named after the great explorers and the county. Check out Ian's favorite, Miners Gold, or the Halo Hefe, the beer named after Carroll College's mascot.

Highlander Golf Course/Restaurant: Visit this scenic par 3 golf course/luxury camping spot where animals such as pigs, goats, and highlander cows roam the property. Play a relaxing game of golf and then check out their menu for a top notch meal.

Out of state travel: Make a family vacation out of this trip! Visit Yellowstone National Park or Glacier National Park. Visit some of our favorite places around Montana: Philipsburg brewery, candy store, and Granite Ghost Town (Philipsburg, Montana), Norris Hot Springs, Old Works Golf Course (Anaconda, MT), the Old Prison/Classic Car Museum (Deer Lodge, MT), Nimrod Hot Springs, Chico Hot Springs, Old Baldy Golf Course (Townsend, MT), and Fairmont Hot Springs (golf course, spa, dining, lodging, and of course the hot springs.)
