Abby and Manny started in the same class in chiropractic school in Dallas, Texas. Although, their relationship did not start until about a year later. Manny generally avoided Abby as she was a delightful ray of sunshine and he was more into laying low with his group of friends in the back of the classroom.

One faithful night Abby and her best gal pal Victoria met up with some friends at a bar in downtown Dallas. Low and behold, Manny and his best pal Alejandro were at the same bar! 
Well, as the night progressed, there was dancing and all sorts of merriment happening. That is where Manny and Abby first got to spend time with each other outside of the classroom. Later that week, Manny asked Abby to lunch where they both say it was love at first bulk. A simple lunch meet up into a 3 hour date. And as they say, the rest is history. 

We have dated for about 5 years, bought a home together in 2021 and added a little furry friend, Nala, to the family in 2022.

In June of 2022, Abby and Manny went to Mexico City to visit Manny's extended family. What Abby thought was just a family trip turned into an engagement when Manny asked Abby to marry him while on a boat ride in Xochimilco.
