It all started in a way you wouldn’t expect – a simple friend request. Eight years ago, Ace was scrolling through Facebook and stumbled upon Sarah’s profile. Captivated by her beauty, he sent a friend request without hesitation. Sarah, who wasn’t exactly glued to her notifications, took a peek a few days later and accepted. And little did they know, a love that would last a lifetime had just started.Now, Sarah did what anyone in 2017 would do when they accepted a new connection—she stalked Ace’s profile. And what did she find? Not only did they both love Ed Sheeran (hello, soulmates), but Ace could actually play instruments. Sarah thought, “Wait a second, this guy is talented—he plays instruments and serenades just like Ed Sheeran!” And just like that, she was totally intrigued, amazed, and yes, hooked.The conversation went into full speed. Texting, calling, messaging 24/7. If their phones could talk, they’d probably say they were already in a committed relationship. Fast forward to November 2017, and it was time to meet in person. The plan? Plaza Independencia.When Ace arrived with his guitar, Sarah’s heart immediately melted. Every moment felt like a rom-com come to life—complete with a soundtrack of Ed Sheeran’s songs. Ace was serenading her with the kind of voice that could make anyone swoon. Plus, he was a gentleman. Was this real life? It felt like a dream come true.After the magical serenade, they wrapped up their perfect date with street food at Isawan sa Talisay. They ate, laughed, and just enjoyed each other’s company. When it was time to say goodnight, Ace walked Sarah home, a smile never leaving his face. Later that night, both of them lay wide awake, replaying the evening in their minds, unable to sleep—because something amazing had just begun.By December 9th, Ace was ready to step things up. He looked at Sarah and said, “Hey, I’m kinda in love with you.” Sarah, being the practical soul she is, responded with a smile and said, “Aww, let’s make this official later.” And he waited. Because Ace knew some things—great things—take time.Fast forward to April 22, 2019, in Naga—the place where it all began. With a ring in his pocket, Ace took Sarah out for a special dinner. Then, down on one knee, he asked her to be his girlfriend. “Tenerife Sea” played in the background, their song, and it was magic.Years flew by, filled with love and growth. Then came the moment they’d been dreaming of: their first big trip outside Cebu. They hopped on a plane together to Siargao—finally experiencing the joy of flying to a place they’d only dreamed of. New adventures, new memories. Every moment felt like a scene from a movie.But it didn’t end there.March 9th, last year, Sarah’s dream of seeing Ed Sheeran live finally came true, thanks to Ace. Little did she know, this wasn’t just a concert night. As “Tenerife Sea” played in the background—the song from when Ace first asked her to be his girlfriend—Ed Sheeran himself sang it live! And then, in front of thousands of people, Ace turned to Sarah, his heart racing. He knelt down, looking up at her with all the love he felt, and asked, 'Will you marry me?' In that magical moment, surrounded by the music of their dreams, everything felt perfect.It was the proposal of every girl's dreams: surrounded by love, music, and the magic of their favorite artist. Sarah’s dream came true on multiple levels: the concert she’d been waiting for, and a proposal that made her heart skip a beat. But this wasn’t just Sarah’s dream; it was Ace and Sarah’s dream—finding each other, two souls destined to be together. Their love was a beautiful answer to their prayers, and they knew it was God’s perfect timing.

Please do not be obliged to buy us a gift since your presence is all that we request. However, if you wish to give us something, monetary blessings as we build our future home would be very much appreciated.

WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE FOR THE WEDDING?

We kindly ask that you dress in formal attire, with an ALL-BLACK THEME. For women, black dresses or evening gowns would be lovely, and for men, we respectfully request black suits or tuxedos. We look forward to celebrating this special occasion with you in style!

CAN I BRING A PLUS ONE? 

Unfortunately, due to the limited capacity of venue the and the number of guests attending we kindly request that you ONLY bring a guest if you were specifically given a plus one on your invitation. We hope you understand.

CAN I BRING MY CHILDREN TO THE WEDDING? 

We genuinely appreciate your understanding that our wedding day is tailored for adults to full enjoy the celebration. Unless we've expressly indicated otherwise, we kindly request that you refrain from including children in the festivities. Thank you for your understanding.
