Originally being separated by 1,700 miles, Adam and Melanie could have never met without God's hand at work. A common interest in a specific video game - Undertale - brought the two together. Melanie was drawing a comic themed around it called Deeper Down, and Adam was looking for comics that were inspired by the game. They first crossed paths in 2016 as Melanie drew her comic and Adam read along. After three years of that, in 2019, Melanie started a chat room on the app Discord for fans of her work, Adam joined, and they became fast friends. They spent time messaging each other as often as they could, always looking forward to the next chance they could do so.

As time passed, they developed feelings for each other, and on February 19, 2020, they decided to become a couple. Covid-19 was an unexpected and unwelcome surprise, but they held onto each other, despite the difficulties and the distance. To their great joy, God opened the doors for them to finally meet in person in Massachusetts in September 2020. Since then, they've enjoyed their time together both online and in person, when they had the chance to be together.

Together, they've spent extensive time playing games, watching shows and movies, and chatting about every topic they could think of; enjoyed great adventures and small activities; and shared joyous laughs and serious moments, loving and supporting each other through life.

After three years of dating and much self-improvement on both of their parts, God opened all the doors for Adam to finally propose to Melanie on June 11, 2023. They've enjoyed every moment they've been able to share together, and they can't wait to spend their lives together - loving God and loving each other.
