Our story began on February 13th, 2022...

Adam's version:It all started during a pandemic of all things. We met online and after many reschedules we finally set the date. I'm the smart man that decided our first date should be the day before Valentine's Day. But the date was set, Coffee Culture at 2 pm. I'll never forget watching this cute girl try to open multiple doors before finally finding the right one, it was Haley, I knew it was Haley and couldn't stop smiling. We talked for hours and hours until we realized she had to go to work. I've never been able to talk to anyone so easily and effortlessly before, we connected so well. We went on date after date, laughing, smiling and enjoying every moment together. I knew pretty early on she was the one, but falling in love was gradual, effortless, and quick all at the same time.&nbsp;We traveled together, managing not to fight after two red-eye flights and foreign languages, so I knew we would stand the test of time. Since that first day we've been there for each other through all the ups and downs, and it's only made my love grow stronger. So strong, that I proposed way earlier than expected because I couldn't wait any longer. I had it all planned out, praying the weather would cooperate and it did. We went for a picnic at a park that held a special meaning to us and the rest is history...&nbsp;

Haley's version:Adam and I met on the dating app, Bumble. We were keen on seeing each other in person, but at the time, COVID was running rampant and our date had to be pushed back until regulations were lifted. Our first date was at a cafe called Coffee Culture. This date will forever hold a special place in my heart, and not only because it was our first date spot, but because of what happened before our date began; when I tried to open not one, not two, but three doors before I found the correct entrance to the cafe. All the while, Adam watched from inside the all glass cafe, amused by my attempts to find the correct door. However, my fumbling of the doors worked as the perfect ice-breaker!From that day on, Adam and I quickly became inseparable and we enjoyed many milestones and experiences together such as career changes, graduation, and day trips. During our time together, we also bonded over our shared humour, our similar values, and more.On May 4th, 2024 at Presqu'ile Provincial Park, Adam got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. He successfully surprised me by proposing at our first picnic spot where we had visited 2 years prior. It was a dream come true and a moment I will never forget and cherish forever and always.

Our Story

Adam and Haley couldn't imagine having their special day without some of the most important people by their side supporting them. Below you can get to know Adam and Haley's wedding party.

Ariana and Haley met in elementary school and have been best friends for over a decade. Haley and Ariana could not believe their luck when they felt like they found a long-lost sister in each other, as they had the same sense of humor, sarcasm, and shared a love for cats. She has been a part of so many memories and milestones for the bride, from the first day of high school, first-time jobs, the stress of university, and more. Haley could not imagine this day without her in it!

Sabrina and Haley met in their last year of university, when a group project turned into a lifetime friendship. From that point on, Sabrina and Haley worked together and aced every single group project they had in university, along with supporting each other and creating fun memories together. They also got to see each other achieve some of their lifetime dreams, and Haley could not say "I do" without Sabrina by her side.

Haley has always dreamed about what it would be like to have a sister, and now she will have her dream come true. Both Haley and Kate are educators and have a love for art, so it was such a surprise to have so much in common with her soon-to-be sister! Haley is honoured to have Kate be with her on her special day and to officially become sisters-in-law!

Kate

Adam has known and grown up with Chris since grade school. Growing, learning, laughing, and making memories all the way through high school and university; Chris has been there every step of the way. Now, Adam is looking forward to having Chris at his side for another important milestone in life when he says "I do" at his wedding. 

Chris

Meeting in university, Adam and Chris were almost inseparable, whether it be in the gym where they worked out early before dawn, or trying not to laugh during their lectures. They made endless memories and pushed each other to succeed. Adam is honoured to have Chris by his side and wouldn't want it any other way.

Adam has always been the little brother growing up, but now he will have one of his own! Adam has come to know Kyle very well these past few years, and knows he is someone he can rely on, not only on his special day, but in life. Adam is honoured to have Kyle beside him on his wedding day and to officially become brothers-in-law.

Haley wants to thank her parents for all their continuous love, endless support, and the sacrifices they made to give her the best life possible. Haley is inspired by the love they still share to this day, and is looking forward to having a marriage as long as theirs, filled with love.

Adam wants to thank his parents for all their love, support, sacrifices and guidance throughout life that has brought him to this special day. He is so grateful for the example they have set, showing him the true meaning of love and how great life can be when you find the one.
