Adam and Hannah met when they were 17 years old at Lookaway Inn. It was his niece, Anna Marie’s, first birthday! Her mama—Hannah’s childhood babysitter and a close family friend—had invited Hannah to celebrate the cutie on her special day. As the party went on, Hannah found herself chatting with a woman about her upcoming college plans. That woman just so happened to be Adam’s mom, who mentioned that Hannah had to meet her son.

The moment Hannah and Adam met, they were smitten. They dated for a bit, but broke up before heading off to college. However, God had a plan. After a few years apart, Adam started attending Hannah’s church. It took some time, but eventually they decided to give their relationship another try.

After a wonderful two years and three months, Adam and Hannah headed to Atlanta to continue their Christmas tradition of seeing The Nutcracker ballet. Following a beautiful winter afternoon at the ballet, they made their way back home to look at Christmas lights and enjoy a nice dinner. As they drove around admiring the lights, Adam pulled into a familiar place—Lookaway Inn. The beautiful location overlooked the twinkling lights of North Augusta. As Hannah looked out, Adam was getting down on one knee! After many happy tears and an emphatic "yes," Hannah and Adam spent the rest of the evening celebrating the fact that they’d soon be husband and wife.
