Miranda and Adam met Halloween 2010, after Miranda became friends with Janine, Adam’s sister. Janine found out that Miranda was dressing up like Nikki Sixx of Mötley Crüe for Halloween, and invited Miranda to Adam’s house for their annual Halloween party. Miranda went up to him, tugged on Adam’s sleeve and said, “Hi, I’m Miranda! Your sister said I should meet you!” Adam replied, “Holy &#*!, You’re Nikki Sixx!”
Over the years, Adam and Miranda would frequently run into each other as acquaintances/friends at social gatherings. In the Fall of 2015, both were single and happened to meet up at their mutual friend, Jade’s house for beers. That night, Miranda showed Adam her Mötley Crüe VIP card, and Adam took it without her knowledge. That night- there was a spark that had never been there before. Adam ended up texting her the next day a picture of the VIP card saying that he wanted to be sure he got an invite to the next get together.
A couple of weeks go by, and Miranda is sure to invite him (if only to get her card back). After a few cans of liquid courage, as Adam walked Miranda to her car, Miranda asked, “so when are you going to ask me out?” And instead of waiting for a reply, she just kissed him and walked away.
After a very cute and formal date request via text, they end up having their first date on November 27, 2015, and officially became a couple January 17, 2016.
Adam and Miranda bought a house in December of 2017 and have really enjoyed doing all the home improvement projects and making it into their home.
On November 1st of 2022, on a Mexican Riviera cruise, Adam made it official and got down on one knee in Puerto Peñasco after riding through the jungle on horseback. Miranda was so shocked, that she didn’t even say yes. She just cried and kissed him and didn’t realize she didn’t even say ‘yes’ until watching the video of the proposal the following day.
Adam and Miranda are both excited to celebrate their love and relationship with the people that they cherish most in this world!
