For a closer but still affordable hotel room the IBIS in Barlborough is a 10-12 minute taxi ride from the wedding venue, with close access to the motorway for getting home or to your onward travel if taking the opportunity to explore more of the north while you are here.

We've also stayed in this hotel and it was fairly average for an IBIS room, we didn't have any complaints and there are nearby facilities for coffee and breakfast. Best to book in early for this one if staying here because prices will go up as the rooms fill.

If you would like a cheaper, very stripped back but still comfortable option within a 20 minute taxi ride from the wedding venue, then the Days Inn is a good choice. We've stayed at the Days Inn a couple of times and found the rooms to be comfortable for a motel style location with the added benefit of being within walking distance of a motorway services that has a fast food breakfast stand.
