Our Wedding

Our journey began in 2017 in the dusty halls of Drackett Tower at the Ohio State University. As freshmen, we were next-door neighbors and friendly acquaintances, sharing occasional conversations and campus experiences. Although we didn’t stay in close touch through those early years, our connection laid the groundwork for what was to come. Life took us on different paths, and it wasn’t until 2020, during the pandemic, that our paths crossed again. Reconnecting during such a transformative time, we quickly realized that we shared a deep connection. What had been a casual friendship in our college days had blossomed into love. Despite the challenges of a long-distance relationship spanning Ohio (Columbus, Dayton, Delaware, and Sandusky) and New York (Rochester), our connection grew stronger with each passing day. In 2023, we made the exciting decision to close the distance and move in together. Our new chapter included moving Adam to Rochester, NY, where Shannon was to complete her PhD in Chemistry at the University of Rochester. Our shared life now includes cherished moments with our beloved kitty, Fergus, enjoying sushi dates, and savoring the simple joys of everyday life. As we step into this new adventure as a married couple, we are grateful for every moment that has led us here. Thank you for being part of our story and celebrating with us as we embark on this exciting new chapter.

Enjoying these buns is a special way for us to honor his memory on this exciting day and celebrate his legacy.
