Our Love Story in Photos

On September 4th, 2021, Adam was living on 89th street and Grégoire was living on 84th street on the Upper West Side. Returning from a run by the river, Adam was running North on Amsterdam Avenue. Grégoire was on a hunt for Sun Chips (the Original blue bag of course), and after going to three stores with no success, hit up the CVS on 86th and Amsterdam. Walking out empty-handed, Grégoire walked home South across Amsterdam Avenue. In the middle of the intersection, both Adam's and Grégoire's heads turned towards each other at the same time and their eyes met. Both then continued in their opposite directions until they reached the sidewalk, at which point, they both looked back at the same time. Sensing that there was something special about this mysterious man, Adam stopped in front of CVS to "stretch" and look at his phone. Grégoire crossed back across 86th street to chat with this runner. Grégoire opened up with, "Hey, how's it going?" And 30 minutes later, after exchanging names, numbers, and our common vegetarianism, we set up a date for later that night at Thyme and Tonic. The rest, as they say, is history.

The Day We Met

Overview: Thank you for being a part of our wedding party! As our closest family and friends, we are excited to spend time with all of you beyond the larger wedding experience! Hotel Information: All of our family, close friends, and Wedding Party will be staying directly on the grounds of the Pleasantdale Chateau on the night of July 13th, where there are 30 rooms available just steps away from our where our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will be held. If you would like to arrive the night before, you are welcome to stay at the Wilshire Grand Hotel, just a short 5 minute drive from the venue, where we have an additional hotel block. Events for Family, Close Friends, and Wedding Party: Sunday, July 13th-1pm-3pm: Welcome Luncheon at the Pleasantdale-3pm-4pm: Check in at the Pleasantdale-4pm-5pm: Photos-5pm-6pm: Ceremony-6pm-7pm: Cocktail Hour-7pm-11pm: Reception-11pm-1am: After PartyMonday, July 14th-8:30am-11am: Brunch-By 10:30am: Check out of Pleasantadale-By 11am: Departure Important Information: Because of the tight schedule once we arrive at the Pleasantdale, we would encourage you to arrive at 1pm in your wedding attire, hair, and makeup.

The Wilshire is reserved for all of our guests, except for our family and wedding party, who will be staying directly on the Pleasantdale Chateau's grounds. For those staying at the Pleasantdale, you will receive a direct email with information about reserving your room at the Pleasantdale.
