We want to ensure that your journey is as seamless and enjoyable as possible. Here are some travel information and tips:

Mactan-Cebu International Airport (CEB) is the closest airport to the wedding venue. For overseas guests, CEB is about an hour and half flight from Manila International Airport (MNL). However, we highly recommend taking a connecting flight from other nearby countries ie. Singapore, Hong Kong. All travelers arriving in the Philippines are required to register and complete entry travel form on <a href="https://etravel.gov.ph/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">https://etravel.gov.ph/</a> at least 72 hours prior to arrival. From the airport, you can hail a white taxi or book via "Grab" app (local version of Uber). Venue is around 25 minutes ride. "Grab" app links for <a href="https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.grabtaxi.passenger&amp;hl=en_GB&amp;pli=1" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Android</a> or <a href="https://apps.apple.com/sg/app/grab-taxi-ride-food-delivery/id647268330" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Apple</a>. If travelling by taxi, please ensure the taxi is metered to avoid getting ripped off. Taxi/Grab cost to the venue is estimated ₱400 - ₱500.

OTHER ACCOMMODATIONS Should you decide to book a different accommodation, there are plenty of hotels and resorts in Mactan Island. However, do let us know so we can check the accessibility of the location to ensure everyone can easily reach the celebrations without any hassle.

Weather: It'll be hot in the Philippines in April (32°/25°), but bring a light jacket for the breeze in the evening. Remember to pack your sunscreen.Language: The Philippines is home to 186 languages but majority of the Filipinos speak English. Cebuano/Bisaya is the main language in Cebu.Travel money: While more and more establishments are accepting cards, cash is the more reliable option when travelling in the Philippines.Passport: Reminder to please check your passport expiration date, which needs to be at least six months validity as per Philippine's travel guidelines.Sim or Wifi: Most places will have wifi but you're better off having a sim card or e-sim. Look for "Globe" or "Smart." All users are required to register their sim cards.Traffic: Traffic can be bad in Cebu so allow sufficient travel time.

Celebrate with us in vibrant or soft pastels, solid or floral colors, as we embrace a joyful atmosphere! For the ladies, go with flowy, mid to floor length dresses. For the gentlemen, we recommend Barong Tagalogs or long sleeve button downs/linens with khaki/chinos/linen trousers. We recommend soft textures and light, breathable fabrics to go with the tropical weather of the island and comfortable and suitable shoes for walking on sand as the wedding will be held on the beach.

ARE THERE ANY COLORS TO AVOID? Kindly avoid wearing full white or dark tones such as black, deep brown, navy, maroon, etc. Photos below for inspiration.

What to Wear

FOR THOSE SPENDING TIME IN THE HOTEL OR MACTAN ISLAND

You can book the below watersports activities with the hotel. Note that a stay in the hotel is complimentary use of kayak and stand-up paddle board.

The island hopping tour in Mactan is a good introduction to the various island tours that the Philippines can offer, with probably the best one in El Nido, Palawan. Aboard a traditional boat called "banca", guests can hop on and off different islands and stop for snorkels with the fishes.

This is an experience unlike any other, and there are only a few places in the world you can do this. The local guides will let you out of the boat with your snorkel on while the whale sharks swim by.

There are only 4 places in the world where you can witness the famous Sardines Run. Moalboal is the most accessible where they can be seen all year-round and just by snorkeling within a few meters from the coast. You're in for a treat if one of the resident turtles joins you.

One of the most unique sea creature you can witness in Cebu is the thresher shark in Malapascua Island, the world's no. 1 thresher shark destination.

FOR THOSE WHO WANT TO EXPLORE MORE OF THE PHILIPPINES

The Philippines is a tropical paradise. From Cebu, the famous islands of Bohol is a 2-hour ferry ride away while Boracay, Siargao, Coron and El Nido, Palawan are around 1-1.5 hour flight away.
