Adam and Sara first crossed paths in July of 2020 in an online Survivor ORG (online reality game), although it wasn’t until that fall where they would officially meet in Post Show Recap’s Discord as podcasters and Dungeons and Dragons players in PSR’s West Marches campaign.


Their friendship developed over the next three years. They played multiple D&D campaigns together, podcasted on each other’s respective podcasts (Shit 90’s Shows Taught Me and One Indescribable Podcast), and became podcast partners on Post Show Recaps, covering How I Met Your Father and Platonic. Adam and Sara also traveled together in person with friends to Atlantic City, Las Vegas, and Seattle. They loved making each other laugh, and had ongoing bits that probably went on for too long. Over time they became each other’s closest support system.


In July of 2023, Adam and Sara revealed to each other that their “Platonic Best Friendship” had developed into more and they never looked back. Sara moved to St. Louis, MO to be with Adam in August. They lived together as a blended family with Adam’s dog, Ruby, and Sara’s dog, Belle, for about ten months in St. Louis until they moved into their home in Indianapolis, IN in July of 2024.


On October 21st, 2024, Adam proposed on Fall Creek Path in Indianapolis near some water. Sara, of course, said yes through the happiest of tears.


Adam and Sara eloped with their closest friends and family on December 7th, 2024.

They plan to celebrate with extended friends and family on Labor Day weekend of 2025 at their home in Indianapolis.


It’s been a whirlwind of a year and a half but with their foundation of friendship, trust, communication, and love…Adam and Sara can’t wait to spend the rest of their lives together.
