Where it all began... the only person Adam ever messaged on Hinge.

Our first date! Adam originally suggested The Congregation coffee shop, but Rachel's friend wisely suggested it might be too busy. Instead we went to the Polish Village Cafe, and to our surprise it was all decked out for Christmas! They even had a violin duet that played "Silent Night" for us as we sat there awkwardly listening.

When we made it official! Celebrated Valentine's Day with dinner and live music.

Easter! Adam's first time meeting Rachel's family

Rachel meets Adam's family! Adam has a lot of relatives in Indiana, and for her first time meeting family, she met ~30 extended family members! She survived the trip, and loved getting to see the family farm.

The summer of weddings! Rachel joined Adam for several weddings, and as we crisscrossed Indiana and Michigan we got to know each other on a deeper level.

Adding to our packed summer, Adam joined Rachel for her family's trip to Port Austin! This was also Adam's first time playing golf with Rachel's dad and brother in-laws... which he survived.

Adam loves to go camping and hiking, and this was their first camping experience together. Unfortunately, it was downpouring rain the first night, but Rachel persevered and we made some good memories hiking and playing cards with friends. (Don't let anyone know Rachel destroyed Adam in Monopoly Deal.)

For Thanksgiving Adam was called upon to prove himself by making mashed potatoes and gravy for Rachel's family celebration.

Engagement! Adam surprised Rachel with a Christmas tree set up at a gazebo by Lake St. Clair. She didn't suspect anything until he drove around a barricade blocking the road, she knew he was too much of a rule-follower to do that.
