Katherine and Adam met as neighbors in Charleston, SC in September of 2019. Katherine lived in the upstairs apartment, and Adam below. The pair began hanging out together after work on their adjacent porches to watch the sun go down in the warm, fall weather of Charleston. On New Years Day of 2020, they began dating at the start of what is now known as an unrelenting year. Over that year they spent countless hours isolated from the outside world, only to find they cherished each others company. This was confirmed by some extended road trips to Michigan, California, and Maine, with a springer spaniel named Biscuit, who joined the family in May of 21’ and is still flopping around to this day.

This past summer, as Adam hatched an elaborate plan to pop the question on his birthday weekend, the plan was foiled by a fit of spontaneity and the question was asked with one knee on the kitchen floor. And here we are, with the special day only a matter of months away, Katherine, Adam, & Biscuit continue to revel in each other’s company as well as the new and old friends they’ve made along the way. This wedding will be a time to bring family and friends together from all over to celebrate with these two on their big day.
