The Coors Brewery Tour in Golden, CO is about 45 minutes from Parker. Definitely worth the trip out if you are a beer lover. You will have to reserve a tour spot. Plan to book the tour at least two weeks in advance as they tend to book up fast on the weekends.
If hiking is your thing we recommend downloading the All Trails app. If you're looking for a 360 view of Rockies at the top of the trail we recommend Chief Mountain Trail (2.8mi) or Devil's Head Lookout (2.8mi) or if something more moderate is your speed without a lot of elevation gain we recommend heading out to Mt. Falcon, Apex Park, or White Ranch Park.
If you don't like the smell of breweries, the Celestial Tea factory tour is a good option. It runs every hour on the hour and cost $5 a person. There are no reservations required for this tour.
If tours or hiking aren't your thing and you'd rather sit back with a nice crisp beer there are plenty of breweries and tap houses in Denver. Specifically, the River North Arts District (RiNo) has multiple all within walking distance.
One of our favorites is the New Belgium tap house on the roof of the Source Hotel. It is Western facing with a great view of the mountains.
