It all started back in 2021. We were both on Facebook dating.
I messaged her because she checked all my boxes. Cute, Loves cats, baseball, lived close by to my apartment by Toledo Botanical Gardens, had a job, a car, close family and did I mention she was cute.

So after messaging back and forth for awhile we decided to meet at Secor Metropark. She was cuter in person, she was beautiful. We held hands and walked around the park and walked thru the cemetery in the park. Sat on a bench and talked some more.

We then decided to go to Panera bread to talk some more. 3 hours later, we were talked out(for that day.)

The next day I went to her parents house(where she was living at the time). So I picked up some flowers along the way. I met her cat Eclipse. And we talked some more. Then we got hungry so Buffalo wild wings it was where we talked some more. When we left, I gave her a hug and kiss.

After that weekend, we have been together ever since. From our meeting on March 20th to October of that year. We would hangout at my apartment every day when we werent working. By October she moved in with me. Eclipse and Tito got along and we knew it was meant to be.

As everyone kept telling me, he appeared when I was not even looking for a relationship. He messaged me through Facebook dating and since I can’t stand having unread notifications, I read his messages and check out his profile. When I read he loves to cuddle and person must love cuddling too and that he is looking for someone who must like cats because he is not getting rid of his cat, I had to message him back.

We texted back and forth for awhile and I even cancelled a couple first time dates due to work stress until we finally met at Secor park. We talked and walked there for about few hours and then Panera for another few hours and really hit it off. I could tell he was what I was looking for, understanding, caring, genuine, willing to help anyone out and loyal.

In the next few weeks that followed we were able to have very direct, open conversations about what we wanted in a partnership, expectations and he respected my boundaries without hesitation. We both love baseball and football, enjoying teasing and supporting each other on when our teams win or lose(him Cleveland, me Detroit(ALL GRIT!); our cats, thankfulness they get along and the love we have for them and from them, going on adventures to check off our bucket list goals; exploring our parks and Toledo events and being each other’s person for everything.

We became official as a couple to everyone in April 2021(though we recognize our first date 3/20/21 as our anniversary) and have been supporting and communicating and loving each other for the past almost 4 years! I can not wait to marry this man and for us to celebrate our amazing love for each other with you all❤️
