Adam & Naquita

The story of Adam and Naquita began almost 6 years ago, at a highly unexpected event - a hen do.

Their story will differ depending on who you ask, Adam will insist Naquita was touching his knee all evening where Naquita will argue he was interested first. Either way, the two began a flirtatious friendship the following day, where Adams opening line was a picture of his Garden Patio.

Their relationship flourished over the coming months but only progressed to ‘Dating’ once Naquita had gone to university, which put a mere 166 miles between them. But after a few trips back and forward over the Severn Bridge, the pair decided the journey was worth it.

Two years later, when the world was faced with the challenges of the pandemic, they decided to do exactly what everyone said not to do. They moved in together. The pair navigated their new life whilst Naquita finished her degree, with Adam doing every DIY project he could get his hands on. It was almost perfect, but as Naquita will tell you, ‘the best part’ of her relationship with Adam was yet to come.

This came in the form of a gangle-legged furry friend named Bailey. It was a rainy Sunday morning when Naquita dragged Adam to go and just ‘Look’ at the Dogs Trust Centre. Whilst Adam took one look at him and said ‘His legs are too long, No’. Naquita took one look at him, Cried and yelled 'he's perfect'. They took him home the next day. He has been living a life of luxury ever since and, much to Naquita's Annoyance, is a total Daddy's boy.

A year later, the pair got engaged on Mawgan Porth Beach in Cornwall, the most beautiful moment, despite the yellow weather warnings and Bailey digging his way to China in the background. The pair celebrated with a Morrisons meal deal as well as a trip to the pub.

The road to their wedding has tested them, including questions of ‘Can we use Makita Power Tools as our centrepieces?’ and ‘What's the point in a wedding if there isn't an open bar?’ but alas, the pair couldn't be more excited to share their day with you.

So dig out your best outfit and prep your liver, its going to be one to remember.
