The  Whole Story

Who would have thought one text would change the trajectory of our lives. Ashley invited Kayla to hang out on a zoom room for "friend fridays" during the peak of the pandemic (July 2020) to get to know some of the people who had become a part of her life. Adam just thought it was going to be another normal Friday (well, as normal as it can be working in production). For the most part it was, until Kayla planned a visit to come see Ashley and her partner Stephen shortly after they got engaged. That November was when Adam and Kayla officially met in person for the first time. Stephen kept making jokes about Kayla 'meeting her future husband' and she 1000% did not believe him. After a day of socializing and hanging out at the dog park with their fur-nephew, Kayla couldn't get Adam out of her head. Adam thought she was someone he could be friends with, and really enjoyed vibing with her. If you would've asked them both that day if they thought they'd be getting married, the answer would've likely been a no solely because they were both dealing with whatever life threw at them. Then they reconnected at Ashley's virtual birthday party, and one DM changed their entire world. One DM led to countless texts, and Adam inviting Kayla to be his plus one to his sister's wedding and she agreed (before they even made their relationship official). They eventually made the relationship official before Kayla flew out to NJ and accepted a job in Pennsylvania. That job led to spending nearly every weekend together, Adam helping Kayla with her events for work, and so many more memories that the couple cherished. Thankfully though, the ended their long distance chapter when Kayla (and Loki) moved to NJ in July of 2022. A few short months later, Adam proposed at their "Powerpoint Party" in front of a lot of their friends and family. They look forward to taking life on as a team and going on so many adventures together with family and friends.

I met Kayla during our time at Ferris. We quickly bonded over our shared neurotic nature and pension for overachievement. Kayla was and is someone who I was able to go to with everything. I remember many discussions that occurred while in the student government office and the shenanigans we and our friends would get into. The nights spent "studying" with our friends and rallying when those nights were more eventful than others. This bond and friendship only became stronger when we became sisters through Delta Zeta. We became sisters and I have been so honored to be asked to stand by Kayla on her and Adam's big day!

These two extroverts first crossed paths in their undergrad student leadership days at a conference somewhere in the Midwest, where the pair connected over an appreciation for hockey and good sitcoms, thus leading Nicole to earn the title of "Kayla's favourite Canadian." From quoting Brooklyn Nine Nine to lamenting over graduate school applications and gushing over amazing summer internships, these two sports fans have maintained a great long distance (and cross-border) friendship.

Natalie and Kayla met when, to cope with the pandemic, they started playing Dungeons & Dragons as the only women at their table. Countless of snapchats and FaceTime calls later, they became the best of nerd friends. The stories might be made up, but the love is always real. ❤️

I have known Kayla since 2014 when we met at a college housing conference. There was an instant connection and we soon bonded over coffee and hockey. We kept in contact through conferences and during college helping each other through the ups and downs. We attended the same graduate school, though not at the same time, and I will never forget the weekend we spent during her grad placement. Over the years we grew our bond with gin and tonics, drag race, our dogs, and the hopes of our futures. When I met Adam through my husband in 2019 I did not realize the plan the universe had and that the two of them to meet a year later and soon fall in love. I am so happy they have found each other and I am excited to stand by her side on their special day!

We met while  we were at Rider University. Through the years Adam and I have gotten to know each other really well. He's a great sounding board for ideas, leads with compassion and understanding, and is an all-around fantastic friend. Years later through my friendship with Adam and Ashley's friendship with Kayla, the two love birds met and have been a perfect pair ever since! I am completely honored and excited to be a small part of their next adventure!

Philadelphia International Airport is an easy 40 minute drive from Mount Laurel and should be a relatively easy airport to fly into for guests! Other airports nearby would include Newark (EWR), and Trenton (TTN). **rental cars, rideshares, and shuttles are available from this airport for a fee**

The Westin Mount Laurel

Transportation to the wedding venue from the Westin Hotel will begin at 2:00pm. Please get on the shuttle by 4:10 to ensure you make it to the venue on time. The shuttle at the end of the night will start at 8:30 Need a way to get from the airport to the hotel? This transport company should be able to work with you to arrange pick up and drop off for your flights if you dont want to use a rental car.
