Q. When is the RSVP deadline?
Please RSVP by 1st Feb 2024 (but the earlier the better please)
Q. Are kids welcome?
We absolutely adore all the amazing children we have in our lives and we wish we could invite everyone to our special day. Unfortunately, we just do not have the space and have decided to only have nieces and nephews (and Donnie of course) at our big day.
Q: What should I wear?
Jodi is still in the process of deciding her outfit, but she's moving towards the following options.
Friday Dinner at the Pub - Casual Vibes 🍻:
Join us for a relaxed evening at the pub, where we'll kick off the festivities with food, drinks, and fantastic company. The dress code is casual, so feel free to wear your go-to Friday night dinner attire. Heels are optional, and there's no need to go too fancy—comfort is key.
Ladies, when we split into groups, consider changing into your cosiest (and warmest) PJs. We also recommend bringing swimwear for both guys and girls!
Saturday Wedding Day - Elegance Unleashed 💍:
The much-anticipated big day has arrived, and we can't wait to share our vows with you! Dress to impress in your favorite wedding guest attire. Think summer dresses, sharp suits, and all the glitz and glamour you'd expect at a wedding. Feel free to add your personal touch, and remember, comfort is crucial. The most important thing is to eat, drink, and be merry!
Matthew Street Sunday Day Drinking - Let Loose! 🕺🍹:
Get ready to unwind and celebrate the day after the wedding with some laid-back day (and into the night) drinking. The best way to describe the dress code is to wear whatever you would choose for a sunny day on Matthew Street at 3 pm. Sunglasses and good vibes are highly recommended!
If you have any questions or need more details, feel free to reach out. Let the countdown to the best weekend ever begin!
Q. Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
Mostly indoors, but we are hoping to enjoy some summer sunshine outdoors for the reception.
The walk from the ceremony room to the reception is no more than a minute, and likewise from the reception to the evening events.
Q. I’m staying on site, when can I check in?
There's no check-in desk at our venue, you only need to arrive. We will let you know which accommodation you are staying in. Your accommodation will be available to you from 9am Friday 23rd Aug.
Q. Where can I get my Hair or Make up done locally on the morning of the wedding?
The Edge hair salon is 6 minutes away from the venue. Please have a look at them on Instagram.
Jodi's hairdresser has recommended Louise Carter Salon in Arklow (28mins away) for hair and Make up.
Alternatively, she's advised if enough guests want to have hair and/or makeup doing the following may travel;
-Michelle O'Halloran
-Tracey Lawler
-Michelle @Maven.ie
-Dominique Kane
-Stephanie Nwambu (@callahcrowns)
Q.Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?
We would prefer if you left the photography to the professionals during the ceremony itself but after that fire ahead.
Q. Are there any activities in the area?
If you've time to spare, here's a few things to do in the area:
Falconry | What better way to spend a Sunday morning than by observing some birds of prey. Visit https://falconryofireland.ie/ for more details.
Macreddin Golf Club | Get back into the swing of things with some golf a mere 15 minutes away. More info available at https://www.macreddingolfclub.com/

Ballycumber walking trail
Part of a group of three walks overlooking the pretty village of Tinahely the Ballycumber Loop is the medium length of the three. The route starts in the village and is a loop so will bring you back to the start point. You’ll trek through a variety of terrain from quiet country lanes to forests to open mountain.
Just 5 minutes from Ballybeg there is a great little café and shop with all sorts of antiquities and treats. They also have a small petting zoo and activity centre- great for children and grown ups! www.tinahelyfarm.ie

The whole wedding, including the ceremony, is on site.
For those who will rent a car in Ireland, you can park at the venue. There will also be taxis available in the evening for those staying off site.
