Their story began with blood, sweat, and tears... at the Edge Fitness Club in Warwick in January of 2020. Adam was a trainer, leading packed weekly classes every Tuesday, and Amanda was beginning a significant weight loss journey. The first class of Adam's that Amanda attended ended with tears over burpees (not much has changed in that respect), a promise of redemption, and a helping hand to get her there. Fast forward to March 2020, and the gym shut down due to Covid. Adam decided to reach out to his weekly Tuesday class regular to join him on an outdoor workout. As the gym remained closed throughout the pandemic, the outdoor workouts became daily and turned virtual when the weather would not cooperate. Through this time, Adam offered Amanda constant guidance (out of the kindness of his heart) on nutrition and exercise, helping her reach her goal of a 100+ pound weight loss. A beautiful friendship and the deepest foundation of trust were born during this time, as they worked together to achieve her goal as well as many goals of his own. There were movie nights, dinners out, and constant texting between the two... as friends. Fast forward once more to August 2021. The pair had switched gyms and began doing CrossFit together- but remained inseparable outside of the gym, too. The spark was undeniable by that point. Adam worked up the courage to ask Amanda out to dinner to see if that spark was worth risking such a close friendship for - and the rest is history! Every day since has felt like a dream come true and they can't wait to celebrate their love with you!
